I went to lunch with a friend here and got the cod sandwich with a side salad. The cornmeal breading was on point! The atmosphere is trendy and clean and the fireplace going really set a cozy mood. I will definitely be back.

Excellent spot in downtown Hayward to grab lunch or a small bite. Made from scratch soups, sandwiches, and entrees with fresh ingredients. Excellent tap beer and wine list to add.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally had the opportunity. It definitely lived up to his reputation. The food was delicious! I had the battered white fish with potatoes and a house salad. The fish was very tasty, and the potatoes simply melted in my mouth. The house salad was very fresh and quite large for a side salad. My friend had the Mushroom and Sherry Soup, along with the Chopped Salad. She raved about both. Very good coffee and the service was excellent as well. We were both very pleased with our lunch and will definitely come back.

Pleasant place with great service. The chopped salad was fresh and delicious. The crab cakes were on the small side but had no filler and were rich and tasty. I did not leave hungry. Give this place a try you'll come back for more

Ok, this place is a surprise of amazing professional and friendly service, beautiful woodwork, fresh, delicious food, and a full wine/beer selection. In downtown Hayward. Let’s go! Order the She-Crab soup that comes with home made cornbread. Home made dressings for the salads. Love it!
