“Family just ate here last week when we were visiting Hayward, wanted a place to go by boat eat dinner and enjoy the views. We were not disappointed! A few of us got the Walleye Tacos and all fell in love - so delicious and not greasy at all!! The other meals and apps we got were great too! Kids had fun playing with the games outside while the adults enjoyed sunset view. Our waitress was great and very pleasant. Would recommend this to anyone.”

“Finally had the opportunity to stop into Fish tales and were pleasantly surprised the renovated interior. It has a horseshoe shaped bar and a dinning area that is slightly separated from the bar area. We had some tap beers that we don't just see anywhere, and had some tasty fries and wings to go along with that. We saw pizzas coming out of the kitchen that had us interested in trying that next time we go there.”

It's over a two hour drive for us and typically an hour and a half wait to be seated but we continue going.”

“You all know the Friday fish is Amazing. However, be prepared. We got there around 7, were told it'd be a 2 hour wait. And we waited 1:45 to sit down and another 30 minutes for food. It's totally worth it, but bring cards, games, corn hole, whatever you can do to help pass the time 'especially if you don't want all the kids staring at screens.... Luckily the surroundings are beautiful...”

“It' a great midpoint for an ATV ride from Long Lake. Suggest you take a break at Spider Lake Saloon along the way and then cap things off at the Chit Chat. Nice signs on trail to get you there. If your ATV has troubles, have your buddies trailer you up in the parking lot. It's all good. Yeah, pool table as well as an incredible taxidermy display. For sale, so catch this classic while you can.”

“My wife and I joined some friends at Big Bear for do her today. The blueberry apple glazed pork prime rib is absolutely awesome! As were the Philly cheese steak sandwich and roast duck. The latter my mom would have loved if she were still around. Smelled like the recipe from the old days and looked just as good. Definitely going back for more.”
