“Stayed for the weekend with our pop up. It was such a fun time. There is so much to do. We rented a golf cart and spent a lot of time just exploring. We saw so much wildlife too and the little pond had some turtles and frogs. We enjoyed grabbing a drink at the bar and even won a little money on the machines. They have a cute little parade of golf carts that are all lit up and decorated. There is a very nice swimming pond and many other fun activities especially for kids. We will for sure be back and next time we will bring our pups because they are animal friendly!!!”

“The Gourmet Cafe, in the back of The Thornberry Cottage boutique, has tasty sandwiches that feature some gourmet touches. They are available hot or cold. The fresh bread from the bakery next door is like a chibatta roll with great flavor and texture. The meats are accompanied by toppings that pack a punch. While I would say the portion size is large for a lady, it fell a little short for a hungry dude like me. Next time, I'll get the soup as well. Coffee, tea and other drinks including alcohol are also served.”

“Overall we had a good first experience with the cafe's new ownership. We were there on a very busy Saturday morning (there was a baseball tournament going on) and while the wait was a little longer that was to be expected on such a busy day. Our food tasted wonderful. The omelets were top notch. A mistake was made on one of table's plates and thankfully an adjustment was made to our bill accordingly. Prices are on the higher end but for a once and a while treat it was worth the money. Figuring the tip in our final bill was over 20 per person.”

“The Lighthouse has some great food and awesome employees. They have a patio in the back which over looks the river which is within 3 feet away from the patio. The patio furniture and tables are very comfortable. Very peaceful relaxing place but u can also watch people dock to come have food or grab a beer or drinks. The inside has a nice bar and tables for dining. They play sports on the TV but have live music on some days.”

“I actually love this shell gas station I take hwy 29 a lot i try to hold out on stopping anywhere for gas or snacks hoping I am able to stop at the shell in Wittenberg. They have a lot of clothing wear, purses for sale, bracelets,little charms you name it seems as though they have it you’ll be captivated and wanna spend some time looking around. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ good service great attitudes from the employees and captivating inventory…. “I went here this morning because my mom was fishing over there. I was hungry and thirsty, so decided to go here. I saw on the menu Quiche, The lady said they can't make it.... So I was like now what....? I saw the blt sandwich and got a iced caramel latte☕. The sandwich was awesome and so was my latte, usually it tastes watered down at other places, but not here... I would recommend this place for a nice Healthy breakfast to start your day out with Good energy 😋. It was a little pricey but well worth the money because it kept me full for a while!”
