“All in all my wife and I enjoyed staying at this resort. Service was really quite well. The beach for the hotel is quite small but there's a open local Beach a half a block away. So the option is quite nice. My biggest complaint would be that there were absolutely no breakfast options available on the property. They have a restaurant which serves lunch and dinner which the food is very good. The people providing service were quite helpful and always available. There are newer buildings which have hotel rooms which are really nice although our room did not have a refrigerator. When we asked if there was a refrigerator in our room at the desk. They said most likely there is. But that was wrong. Luckily we had a cooler and it was adequate ice available for free. Place has a great vibe and would definitely go there again.”

“Pop's Burger & Pizza House is a wonderful addition to the community. They offer specialized burgers and pizza with a wide range of tastes. The interior of the restaurant is clean and cozy. It's exactly what one would think about for being on Michigan Ave. The food has a very large portion size, so be ready for that! I ended up cutting small bits of my burger to eat otherwise I would have made a major mess. The pricing might be tad high until you see the food. Be prepared to spend $15-20 per plate here for a specialty burger. It's worth it though! I had the Texas burger and it was a perfect blend of burger, BBQ and onion rings. The fries are delightful as well. The staff was friendly and attentive when we arrived. You take a menu and go up to the counter to order. Not a bad system, as you don't have to wait for someone to take your order. Overall, if you're looking for a specialty burger, this is one place you should try. I can't say anything about the pizza yet.”

“I was surprised to hear about this place. I went with my son and daughter in law to check it out. We had a signature drink off the drink menu and we enjoyed them. We also had their Ramon. It was good. We played the game with the ax and it was interesting and fun to try. I will go back to see if I can do better throwing the axe. I recommend giving this place a try. “Went to El Durango fir some dinner and was not disappointed at all! It's a relatively small restaurant but very clean and easy to walk around in, having a simple but clearly Mexican Motif that was just kinda neat overall! Service was grade A; quick, nice to talk to and very friendly, well worth the tip left. Food was great if you ask me! The free chips and salsa were definitely home made and excellent, and the burrito with fries and homemade sauces was excellent on both ends and RIDICULOUSLY low priced. “Honestly, the best wings I've ever had. Unbelievably flavorful! My girlfriend and I tried them and she even loved them and she doesn't eat wings. She loved her burger too, and we tried the baked mac, potato salad, fries, and pizza puffs. All of it was fantastic. The sauces were awesome too. Their house mild had incredible flavor. If you want chicken (or great food in general) just do yourself a flavor and go here!”

“La Parada is under new ownership and new management and this has been a good change. The food quality now is much better than under the previous owners. Our dinners tonight were delicious. The servings were large and have provided tomorrow's lunch, too. I'm not sure why the owners call it "gourmet Mexican" as the menu is standard, but the food was well-prepared and tasted great. We will look forward to returning and trying other dishes on the menu.”
