“All I had was a slice of the vanilla cake with chocolate frosting but it was DELICIOUS. The cake was moist and not too heavy...the chocolate frosting was smooth and rich but not cloyingly sweet. “Absolutely fantastic! My husband and I wanted something more casual to celebrate our anniversary and we could not have been happier with our dinner at the Local Press Eatery. We were blown away by how perfectly everything fit together and how delicious it all was. On top of that, service was absolutely stellar. A employee brought us dessert for our anniversary which was completely unexpected but so appreciated. Also very reasonable prices. We are definitely coming back!!! Thank you!!!!”

“Definitely a different take on Spanish cooking. There are some traditional meals and then not so traditional but with Spanish flavors. It was definitely delicious. I did not like that my tortillas for dinner came in tin foil, they were cold and hard before I got to the second one. A tortilla warmer would be much more appropriate. Was not a huge fan of the guacamole but I have definitely had worse.”

“Today, my sons and I had lunch at Casa Imelda. Our food and service was great. After paying our bill, I forgot/ left my credit card at the restaurant. One of the boys who works there got hold of my son, his classmate, to let him know I had forgotten the card. I wasn't even aware that I had left it behind. “The AB&J bowl was delicious! Just a couple of suggestions.. I had something almost exactly the same in California last week for about the same price but double the portion. I totally agree with smaller portions but maybe have a cheaper/smaller option and a more spendy/larger option? Also, I was really disappointed to walk in and see a load of plastic bottles for the juices. Yes, they are recyclable but keep in mind ONLY ABOUT 9% OF PLASTICS IN THE US are actually recycled. :( I was informed that they are trying to move to glass bottles. That's great! But keep in mind the caps. Take a walk down the beach of Lake Michigan and that's what you'll see a ton of; plastic bottle caps. But overall the quality of the product was good! :) Waste not want not, peeps. Peace.”

“Went to eat there on Sunday and food was excellent , correct and fast. The employees there who seemed to actually care about their job and customer satisfaction were polite and helpful. I don't know their names but the guy has red hair and the girl wore glasses and I to think they were a couple. Everytime I eat there they are always amazing at getting my order correct unlike some of the other people. The other employees mostly stand around, including the manager. I think Qdoba would be much better if they were managing the store because it seems like they are only ones who care about how the store is run.”

Sandwiches are great, Friday fish fry is on par with any other self-respecting supper club and the broasted chicken is a local favorite. The Wednesday special is also usually a winner. The pizza gets mixed reviews. The fresh cheese is awesome (would you expect anything less when the restaurant is owned by a cheese maker?), toppings good, but it's obvious that the pie starts with a frozen crust. This place is a popular local hangout, though outsiders shouldn't feel the least bit intimidated by the casual and cozy atmosphere. Seating can be limited during peak dinner hours, though there are now more places to enjoy a drink while you wait for a table, owning to their recent expansion and renovation. A great place for a casual dinner.”

“Food is ok depending on what you order. Beef medallions are still bad & were tasted by 4 people in our party. Not a good idea if you have more then 4 in a group. We waited 2 hrs 20 min for our food after ordering but we had a group of 20. If the waitress would of told us we would have to wait long we probably would have left. We thought we would give this place a 2nd chance as we had been here for breakfast with a party of 8 about 4 yrs ago. We had to wait 1 hr & then only 4 got there food & the other 4 of us got our food when the 1st 4 were already finished eating. No other people in restaurant at the time & 2 women in the kitchen! It’s a shame as the place is nice place other wise.”
