“This was mostly a really good place. We had a group of 7 & most of the meals were fantastic but my daughter's Fettuccine Alfredo was not good. They basically served her noodles in butter with some melted cheese on top. The prime rib, walleye, & steaks along with the appetizers were definitely very good though! Make sure to get the fresh baked bread, you won't regret it!”

“Whitetail Inn is quite the facility. The log building is incredibly beautiful inside. Great bar and fireplace. We had drinks and hung out to see if dinner seating opened up. Our hostess, Joy, was wonderful. With all the issues these establishments have staffing, everyone needs to have a little patience. Our prime rib dinner was excellent! The jambalaya not so much. “Where do I even begin with the Blink Bonnie? Every time we are in Eagle River this is a must stop restaurant. The steaks are excellent and come out sizzling hot. We were there with a group of 9 on Thursday - they said they did not have any tables for 9 but accommodated us with 2 tables next to each other. Aside from the fantastic food you will find a great old fashioned and drink! If you look in the dictionary under "bartender" you will see their bartender Chuck's picture. Not sure why people cry about the wait - it's worth the wait! See you next year when we return for our annual trip. Nice!”

There was only one employee working the whole restaurant and bar, though, on a Friday afternoon which slowed service but wasn't a huge deal. Also, kids meals were $8.25 for a bowl of Kraft Mac n Cheese and some fries! That's steep, especially for families with multiple kids!”

“Came here the last day of vacation, myself and my fiancé, three kids between 6 and 10. Each ordered something different and EVERYTHING was incredible. Coffee was hot and fast to be replenished. Meal came reasonably fast, as expected when made fresh. Flavors were out of this world; even the usually picky kids devoured everything. What we didn’t individually finish, we shared across the table with one another, and were immediately envious of each other’s orders, vowing to order differently next time. The wait staff was also wonderful, making the brunch have a personal touch; joking with the kids, attentive and quick to respond. All in all, go here. You owe it to yourself!”

“Great drinks, great wings, great service. What else can I say? A group of us friends stopped by for lunch on a day of ATVing and was pleasantly surprised by the service. There was one guy on a Sunday afternoon who was bartending and cooking. Hubby and I ordered wings and they were phenomenal. The drinks were great and everything came out fast. Will definitely stop by again if in the area!”
