“Yes, the pizza taste even better than it looks! The Pioneer has best pizza on Long Lake - it’s our go-to on land or when cruising on the boat. The only complaint is there can be a wait to dock the boat or park but that’s the price you gladly pay for GREAT food. They have a nice beer selection and we also love their fried cheese curds!”

“This place has so much potential and could be 5 stars with a few tweaks. It has an eclectic assortment of antiques, old school slush puppy machine, hand scooped ice cream, full bar and freshmade pizza. There is free pool and a pinball machine. Video poker and Bonus Hole also await (obviously at a cost). The bartender/server was friendly. There are a few tap beers, including craft beer. There's plenty of free parking and easy in/out of the parking lot. Now for the areas of improvement: There is limited seating. The seating that is available is not family friendly. The atmosphere is defined more by a somber bar than by a restaurant. There was no music playing (although there is a touch tunes machine available). Prices for ice cream were high ($5 for a single scoop, $7 for a double). Pizza was good, but toppings were somewhat sparse. Overall, I will go back again to see if things change for the better.”
