“Such a wonderful place, with wonderful people. It is a great place to engage with others of the community of just have fun conversations. The staff always seem to be in a positive mood, and are all very caring people with beautiful smiles. The service is quick and easy. Having an online ordering system also helps with timeliness. As for their menu, there are many different shakes and loaded teas to choose from! My favorite tea is their Passion Fruit Punch! “The owners are really helpful and hardworking. The sites are kind of closely packed, but for a group camping trip, that is perfect. The grounds are very well maintained and it looks like the Porta potties are serviced regularly. He has a water spigot by the bar to refill containers. He has a bus and trailer for transport to and from landings for float trips. We brought a phone so we could call him to pick us up. My husband's brother comes here every year for his birthday, and they thoroughly enjoy themselves every year.”

“Yes, the pizza taste even better than it looks! The Pioneer has best pizza on Long Lake - it’s our go-to on land or when cruising on the boat. The only complaint is there can be a wait to dock the boat or park but that’s the price you gladly pay for GREAT food. They have a nice beer selection and we also love their fried cheese curds!”

“The former PROPS on beautiful Long Lake has new owners, and a new name! THE LANDING-we've visited twice during a recent short trip 'up north'. The new owners have made some suttle/very nice changes. The new menu has a really nice, and if I might add DELICIOUS variety of offerings. Great service, clean and reasonably priced! “A girlfriend and I stopped in to Marie's for lunch one day on a snowy road trip. As soon as we walked in I know it was a great choice because it smelled wonderful. The menu is extensive and everything coming out of the kitchen looked great. We started off with an order of french fries but were told to only get half because of its size. She was right. We both ordered the lunch sized spaghetti which came with garlic toast. Excellent choice. Not only was the food amazing, but the owner and his staff were as well. Extremely welcoming and had nice conversations with them. I highly recommend this bar/restaurant. I will be back with a group of my motorcycle friends. If you're going through stone lake or on your way to Hayward, make the slight detour and stop at Marie's. You will not be disappointed!”
