“One of the best! I really do love this place. When I first passed through Oconomowoc 3 years ago by happen chance, I stopped by Roots for lunch. The experience of seeing City Beach, eating lunch at Roots, and driving through downtown Oconomowoc was enough for me to pack up and move here 4 months later from an hour away. I think they have the best coffee/Lattes in town. Their food quality/service has always been top notch. The interior is cozy and contemporary, Intimate and relaxing. This has been a repeat business I have spent $100s of dollars with in the last 3 years. I love it. I just wanted to say that it is absolutely crazy that the breakfast burrito I ate today was 1/3 filled with corn. Not even fresh corn. FROZEN CORN! I’m still shocked. The texture and taste of frozen corn is beyond recognizable and barely palatable on a plate with butter let alone wrapped up and reheated in a breakfast burrito. Ya’ll need to remove the corn and replace with potato and even bell peppers (both can be frozen and reheated) - using frozen corn in a breakfast meal as an ingredient is crazy. The other thing was I had a hard time reading the menu today with the baby blue background and fine font. I overheard the elderly couple behind me discussing the same thing. I love Roots and will continue to patronize this business - but please guys tweak that burrito a little bit 🙏🏼🌽”

“I stopped by today and entered a very busy atmosphere. I didn’t expect anything more than usual service however I was blown away. Gage is a remarkable employee. I have visited many Starbucks and have never been treated so nicely. Even though he was very busy, he made me feel extra special by directly handing my drink order with a genuine smile and greeting. It’s hard to come by people who genuinely want you to enjoy your day. Every time I visit this location I have been treated amazingly! Keep up the great work even in a crazy time I will continue to stop by and know I will be taken care of !”

Always a smile and a great conversation. Old town feel with great food. You have to try the toast. Crunch every bite!! The food at this place is great. Try anything and you will love it. “The staff is very friendly and the coffee is great. There is a large selection of drinks, not just coffee. There are also some tasty breakfast and lunch dishes. This is a great place for meeting with friends, having a book club or Bible study, or just grabbing a quick drink. The prices are high but not ridiculous for the drinks, but the prices for food is pretty expensive. Great little coffee shop in a convenient location.”

“Always loved Dunkin Donuts, and visiting this one was just as pleasurable as the last I have visited! There was a lone Male working this morning by himself and from the time I walked in to the time I was walking out I was greeted and welcomed by this young man and even told to have a nice day, which is rare too hear from some nowadays! Coffee was hot and fresh and my A.M. breakfast wrap was also fresh! Good customer Service is hard to find these days, but if you stop here I'm sure you'll find it as much as I did!”

“Ordered two happy meals and two extra value meals on a Friday night and it was ready within 4 min, only error was two girl happy meal toys instead of a boy and girl. A few tables were slightly messy, but overall it was pretty clean. Bathrooms clean, but very cold (air temp, water temp, air dryer temp). Dryers didn't work great. Kids loved the play place. Thankful our first experience was better than all the previous reviews.”

“Bacon, egg, and cheese bagels or wraps are sizzling hot and filling, not greasy, but really fast! They have hot sauce, but no ketchup. Plenty of beverage choices, including bottled juices. Other offerings: bagels and cream cheese, lunch sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts. REASONABLY PRICED!”
