“One of the best! I really do love this place. When I first passed through Oconomowoc 3 years ago by happen chance, I stopped by Roots for lunch. The experience of seeing City Beach, eating lunch at Roots, and driving through downtown Oconomowoc was enough for me to pack up and move here 4 months later from an hour away. I think they have the best coffee/Lattes in town. Their food quality/service has always been top notch. The interior is cozy and contemporary, Intimate and relaxing. This has been a repeat business I have spent $100s of dollars with in the last 3 years. I love it. I just wanted to say that it is absolutely crazy that the breakfast burrito I ate today was 1/3 filled with corn. Not even fresh corn. FROZEN CORN! I’m still shocked. The texture and taste of frozen corn is beyond recognizable and barely palatable on a plate with butter let alone wrapped up and reheated in a breakfast burrito. Ya’ll need to remove the corn and replace with potato and even bell peppers (both can be frozen and reheated) - using frozen corn in a breakfast meal as an ingredient is crazy. The other thing was I had a hard time reading the menu today with the baby blue background and fine font. I overheard the elderly couple behind me discussing the same thing. I love Roots and will continue to patronize this business - but please guys tweak that burrito a little bit 🙏🏼🌽”

And she was extremely rude about it when I asked her about it. I came in a few times after and she was always rude to me. “This store has the best customer service I have ever experienced. Our internet went out at our home right before my husband had to take a test online! We went to the Starbucks to use their internet in the parking lot and his computer was dying and I asked to be able to charge it possible outside while he continued to take his test. One of their AMAZING staff members drove to his parents house nearby to get an extension cord so he could charge his computer using the outlet inside while taking the test outside and maintaining social distancing. Best customer service I have ever experienced. 10/10.”

“Not only are they extremely efficient no matter how busy it is but every time I go there the staff is extremely friendly. I’ve gone there 15 minutes after open and all the staff is so kind and patient. Today when I went in, I went in around a shift change and every staff member that was leaving said bye to the team and they all exchanged positive words such as great job today! And when all the staff left I could see how amazing the environment was and how much they are truly a team. I love going there because the staff is absolutely wonderful especially in the midst of a pandemic they have the best customer service I have ever seen and the way they acted with the shift change was an environment anyone would love to be in. They all seemed to work so well together and complimented each others work. It was the best team I have ever seen and the way they acted is something I will try and implement in my work. “We purchased macaroons, velvet cake, and eclair for my kid's graduation part. Firs, the owner was on top with the order and provided me updates on our order. Second, my guest loved the dessert . The macaroons were to die for.
