“My first time eating here under new ownership was fantastic! It was busy and for good reasons. I tried the duck tenders with a side of sweet potato fries. The duck was so juicy and tender with great flavor! Better than most duck I've had at more expensive restaurants and the raspberry duck sauce on the side was delicious even though the duck certainly didn't need any sauce. The sweet potato fries were also fresh and delicious! My husband had the "Big Buck" venison burger which was also amazing! They cooked it exactly the way he wanted (medium rare) and it wasn't over cooked like most places tend to do. Amazing food and very friendly service! I can't wait to go back again!”

“We arrived during Friday fish fry. The hostess was friendly, but we asked for a drink and she just walked away. The place was packed and people arriving for food were told it would be a 25 minute wait. There were no seats anywhere at the bar or in the dining area. Even the two outside tables were full. We finally got our drinks and sat on the concrete sidewalk overlooking the mill pond. The bartenders were friendly and personable. When my husband requested to cash out our tab the bartender added another beer to the tab and then cashed it out. A little frustrating when your ready to leave a very overcrowded establishment and your given another drink you didnt even want ????”

“This is a great hole in the wall dairy bar. Ice cream is their main draw but we also got dinner. I got the bacon cheeseburger with fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and the bun it was on was soft and flavorful. The fries were crinkle cut but were nothing special. The real winner was the butterscotch malt I got when leaving. It was creamy, sweet, and salty in a perfect balance. We did have an issue with the kitchen or waitstaff not bringing out 2 correct orders and it took 3 times before it was out correctly. They were apologetic and did make up for it with a discount on the messed up orders. Overall if you want a small town dairy bar to visit this one should be near the top of your list.”

The deep-fried Twinkie is decadent but fantastic, the Perch Burger is absolutely great with the tartar sauce, and the Pizza Burger sounds odd but tastes fantastic with their marinara sauce. If you're here, also be sure that you grab some of the homemade root beer before you head out! Be aware that it's cash or check only, but there's also an ATM handy on site as well so that's not an issue.”

“Absolutely wonderful! So friendly, unlike anything youd see in a big city. It feels like grandpas man cave, so warm, comforting and inviting, it feels like coming home. Plus, the food is amazing, one of the best burgers I've ever had! The fries are so unique and delicious; they're spiral wedges, a perfect combination of crunchy and savory! I would highly reccomend this place!!”
