“Amazing beach. Awesome campground. Great fishing. I recommend bringing a canoe or kayake. Very peaceful and relaxing. Bring your own beer though. The bar has an atm and a credit card machine but they will only take your card to pay for camping. Not for food or drinks such makes me think they just want to pocket the cash.”

“Really good burgers are back. A previous bar and grill in this building (The Bear's Den) had the best burgers in town. Once again, it seems One More Mug Bar and Grill might have the town's best burgers in the very same space. The burgers we enjoyed were sizable and had great flavor. They had a bit of char offset by a toasted bun and quality toppings, especially the grilled onions. The deep fried onion rings were also a stand out item. The menu offers standard bar food like pizza, wings, appetizers, and the aforementioned burgers. Plus, flat breads, wraps, tacos, shrimp, and salads are served, to name a few others. There is an AYCE Friday fish (cod) special as well. The newly renovated place is clean with comfortable new tables that surround a horseshoe bar. The new operators ran Jarritos, so I'm guessing their margaritas and mojitos will be on point, too. We have been back several times and have enjoyed everything. Once for an AYCE wing special on game day. Chick it out...”

“Overall I would say you won't be disappointed. The BBQ is decent and ranks higher up on my list. The pulled pork I feel is the real winner as it comes smoked and dry with no sauce. The flavor alone is amazing. The cornbread is delicious and the Mac n cheese is awesome as well. I will say the seating area inside is not very big at all so either prepare to eat out side or come early enough to get a table. They do have a bar area that is a horseshoe style to sit and drink or eat at as well. The outdoor seating is nice with it being pet friendly. Overall I would say 4.2 stars. The prices are decent for actual real food that was sourced locally and smoked right out front. The only downfall at the moment is the menu is more expansive at the wautoma location as this is limited.”

“What can I say about this place besides it has character. Old school Irish bar they have Guinness on tap. They also serve peanuts. The food is questionable but I did give it a try. I had a cheese burger which was alright not the best or the worst I have had. The pickle tasted very old. The atmosphere is interesting and from what I heard from the locals it’s the place to be during st patty’s day. Definitely a place to check out hopefully you see the owners when you visit.”

“The restaurant is newly opened and was busy. The servers were amazing and the food was very good. The owners come out and talk with customers to see how everything was. I find it refreshing to see owners caring about the customers and their feedback. The staff were all very pleasant and continued to check on not only us but the tables around us. The food came back as it was ordered and tasted great. They make quite a few items home made. They also offer gluten free options on the menu.”

“Easily the most authentic Mexican restaurant in the area, if not the Fox Valley, and it’s run by the sweetest people. The margarita was strong, the beer was cold, the staff were attentive, and the food was unique and delicious. Our favorite meat was the al pastor, seasoned marinated pork. It was rich, tender, smokey, and had just the right amount of heat and subtle sweetness to keep it perfectly complex. We started with homemade chips and beans, which were different than anywhere else we’ve had as the chips had a satisfyingly chewy crunch that paired well with the dip. My husband had the al pastor burrito, which was appropriately large, while I tried one each of the al pastor taco, carne asada taco, and pollo taco - all traditionally wrapped in corn tortillas and topped with cilantro and onion. Taqueria Luciano definitely stands out from the plethora of Midwestern Mexican restaurants throughout the valley, and we were surprised to learn about their history here in New London, especially their connection to the little corner grocery store, La Costeñita. We’re excited to return and to support an authentic local establishment!”

“This isn't fast food. It's hand-made deliciousness! I've never eaten any Indonesian food before, and I definitely want more. This is something unique and delightful, tucked away in the back of a normal looking gas station. You're not here for the atmosphere, you're here for the food and it must not be missed. The Mexican is fresh and legit: way better than anything else in the area. The Indonesian dishes are quite tasty, it's made me curious about other flavors from that culture. I'm not a morning person, but some of the breakfast looking options make me want to stop in some morning. I'll report on that in the future if I do. Don't sleep on this one, if you love food you owe it to yourself to give this place a taste, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Highest recommendation.”

“My first time eating here under new ownership was fantastic! It was busy and for good reasons. I tried the duck tenders with a side of sweet potato fries. The duck was so juicy and tender with great flavor! Better than most duck I've had at more expensive restaurants and the raspberry duck sauce on the side was delicious even though the duck certainly didn't need any sauce. The sweet potato fries were also fresh and delicious! My husband had the "Big Buck" venison burger which was also amazing! They cooked it exactly the way he wanted (medium rare) and it wasn't over cooked like most places tend to do. Amazing food and very friendly service! I can't wait to go back again!”
