“Wisconsin is known as the Badger State in recognition of its mining tradition and we felt like lucky prospectors to find this jewel of Creole cuisine created by the very cordial proprietor Wendy, a recent transplant from Louisiana, who will simply delight you with the family recipes she learned growing up in the bayou. We both had the catfish. It was amazing. Some of the best fish I've ever had. From my reviews, you can see this is something I take seriously. I haven't tried everything, but I would say it's definitely some of the best fish I've had.”

As usual my egg rolls were screaming hot (I am amazed by this) I can never make up my mind if I want the original or the vegetarian bc they are both equally delicious, so I get some of each! Were super picky about proper cooked medium rare burger and was perfect! Wings were really good too. We weren't interested in fries so we got a side salad and was too big for both of us to eat. Very generous portions, well cooked and everything tasted good. Unsure of other reviews but we were very happy. Pleased with food, portion & price. Maybe just make sure who's working bc we had an excellent experience. Because City of Rapids permit office sucks we will definitely be back and eat here again, lol.”

“I have been here several times for Friday fish. I always had the pan fried cod which was very good. It has a light breaded crust on top down perfect everytime. Last time the owner who is very nice and attentive to his customers recommended the walleye. I had the pan fried this time again with light breaded crust on top. I was glad I did. Very good.”
