“Much better tasting than I remember. It's been over ten years since I've eaten Papa Murphy food because the flavor was plain. While caring for my four yr old grandsons (without carseats) & away from home I needed lunch within walking distance so instead of gas station food I opted for local Papa Murphy's. We were quite pleased with the salads and quality of the pizza and the staff was patient with my rambunctious boys and many questions.”

“This little shop is located in the main lobby of Grand Central, an apartment complex in the heart of UW-Madison's campus. This place is pleasantly surprising. I went in to grab a quick coffee on the way to class and left happy with an exceptional batch brew from arguably one of the top roasters in the nation, Kickapoo Coffee. This place has the bells and whistles of a genuine coffee shop. The wait can be long and there is little wait space, but it is great coffee coming from this shop.”

“Checked it out because it has my name, but I would definitely like to go again! The potato pizza was very intriguing, and the mushroom and spinach was pretty good (though a little heavy one the vegetable oil for my taste.) Chill venue, nice to sit by the window and chat while eating. All their prices already have tax accounted for, so everything comes out to nice, round numbers. And they use Square for payments, so it was able to send my receipt to my email address without even having to ask.”

“Soups were delicious as always. I was quite disappointed in the quality put into my sandwich though. My sister and I both ordered sandwiches with avocado and found them to be extremely hard avocados. And I mean hard like this thing flew across the table when I tried to press it with a knife. Like ok a had avocado but when I told the manager about it he only said that they've been having problems with their supplier and that he personally wouldn't have served it but their it away, he apologized but that was all. Hearing from people who've gone to this location before the avocado problem is not new and has been neglected to be remedied as they've served hard avocados for a long while. I also wonder about other service at this location as a lady complained about her iced coffee being pale and flavorless. Like I said soups are great but probably best to avoid anything with avocado in it”

“I love Papa Murphy's in general. This particular location is one I use frequently. They are always very accommodating and friendly and efficient and clean. I have been in a couple of times when they were training new employees. The person doing the training is always respectful to both the employee and the customer. Even if they are busy, they do not get flustered and are very encouraging. To me, how employees are treated factors in to my rating of an establishment. From what I have seen, these folks are great!”

My wife had the Cadillac Chimichangas, the tortilla that encased was done very good the cheese covering tasted cheap ,the inside was lacking a seasoned taste. Black beans were excellent. I had the fajita Combo ,Chicken and beef ,beef was very good chicken was slightly drier. Once again it was not seasoned well enough . Portions were very good.”
