“It honestly astonishes me to see how many people are negatively rating this restaurant. My family is new to Laramie and have been here just under a year. This is probably one of the best restaurants we have tried. Everything else is unimpressive. The food is great, always hot. The orange chicken always comes with a lot of sauce at the bottom of the carton and it’s sooo good. The fried rice is worth the upgrade in price, it’s perfect fried rice. The egg rolls and wontons are great! The man who is always working is always extremely courteous and nice to me. The food is always done pretty quickly. I highly recommend over ANY other Chinese restaurant here, they’re all gross. Worth every penny.”

“I had never been to New Mandarin before today and I have to say that I am very satisfied! I ordered sweet and sour chicken, two egg rolls, orange chicken, and vegetable fried rice for take out. I didn’t have to wait long at all to get my food which was nice! Unfortunately when I got home I realized that I was missing my orange chicken so I called the establishment to which they were very apologetic and included a free dessert as well!! The food itself was delicious, perfectly crisp and flavorful. I loved the orange chicken and the egg rolls were AMAZING. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t try the egg rolls!!!!! I definitely recommend this hidden gem to anyone in Laramie craving delicious Chinese food. I will certainly be back!!”

“Fuel seems to be good quality and one of the lowest prices on diesel that I have seen. I've never had any issues with it. They have been adding additional items to their store on the truck stop side. I've only eaten from their little restaurant a couple times. I can't say it was bad, just not what I am accustomed to. You have to keep in mind that it is not a McDonald's or Burger King.... it's not going to be a fast process. It sure as heck won't kill you, if you don't like it, don't try it again... Problem solved.”

Pretty authentic, good service and very reasonable prices. Chips and salsa were an add on but because of the reasonable menu prices, that didn't bother me at all. I tried a combo platter and enjoyed each item equally. Green chili was great as was the salsa, just enough kick. They had spicier options if you like sinus drainage : ) Would definitely visit again and will, next time I find myself in Laramie with a hankering.”

“*2022 Edit* Over the course of the last couple years Crowbar has really become disappointing. You can read my original review, I used to think very highly of it. The food has become pretty lackluster, their pizza, regardless of what they say, is different than it used it be. Nothing is as good as it used to be. The service has also taken a turn for the worst. You never know if you will get food in a reasonable amount of time or if you'll spend 45 minutes waiting. I highly doubt the issue is with any of the individuals working there, given the consistency of the degradation in both food and service I have a suspicion that poor management is to blame. I really hope they get it figured out, I want to be able to amend this review again back to 5 stars. But after 2 or 3 years of hoping for better and getting disappointed, I think it's safe to say it's not a covid problem, there's more to it than that. *Original Review* As far as I'm concerned the Crowbar has the best pizza in town. And while their burger options are limited what they do have is fantastic. Excellent draft beer selection and full bar with good bartenders. Consider them for your next weekend brunch outing, killer breakfast food and bottomless mimosas.”

“The food was amazing. The person I traveled with had the chicken and waffles and absolutely loved it. I had the French toast, it was good but not over the top amazing. Being a vegetarian it would be nice to eat a food that doesn't have the hint of meat taste because it is cooked on the same grill. The only reason I gave them 4 stars not 5. The atmosphere here is definitely calm and a reminder that we need to slow down. Maybe it was because they were a bit short handed but our server Dominic was amazing and very friendly.”

“The food is good but the service isn’t. We are local and go in often but the last three times we have had to track our waitress down for refills. Today we sat down ordered drinks and asked for menus. She did tell us the kitchen was backed up and we said that was fine we were not in a hurry. The girls behind the bar were so busy with the boys sitting at the bar making them round after round until I had to ask someone else for our drinks and menu. We ended up leaving.”

“Just swung in for lunch randomly and was glad I did. I don’t know much about the dining scene in Laramie, but they should be grateful to have to this place here. It could easily fit in and compete in a much larger (city) market. I had the Duck Confit and it was very, very good. Flavors balanced and the duck was cooked perfectly. Nice presentation as well. “Maria's is an unassuming establishment which offers some excellent Mexican style cuisine. As we entered a voice greeted us from the distance. Shortly, a pleasant young lady presented, seated us and asked about drinks. I had water. She gave us the menus and explained the choices of the day. I ordered the Green Chile. It was disappointing but, only because it wasn't green. The bowl of Chile was just enough. Not too big, not too small. The flavor was superb, texture, just right, and the pork was seared perfectly. Waitress was also excellent. Price was reasonable. As we left, Maria, thanked us for coming with a smile... Will definitely go there again.”
