“We came to Wyoming for a wedding, and we had originally booked somewhere else but had stopped by before checking into our hotel to meet with the bride and groom. As soon as we got here, Beth the GM was freaking AMAZING! We decided to void the other reservation and stay here. The entire staff is incredible. If you ever want to go somewhere and feel like you’re best friends with people, this is the place. I have travelled all over this planet, and I don’t want to sound to heavy, but it’s the absolute best service I’ve ever received! Highly recommended, I wish I could stay forever! It’s that good!”

“Stopped here twice in a three day period. Bathroom was clean but the sink faucets were very hard to turn off. Both times I walked into the bathroom water was flowing from the faucets. A big waste of water.”

“I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the establishment and the friendliness of the folks working the counter. The bathrooms too were very clean…thank you! However, upon returning to our car we were shocked to realize our car battery was completely dead! My husband (after a couple of tries to get it started) went back inside the gas station, and came out a few minutes later with one of the the employees who pulled her own BIG (personal) truck right next to our car, busted out her jumper cables, and gave us a jump start. BECKY (the most awesome employee ever!!) not only saved the day, but refused to let us tip her in cash. She instead sent us on our way with a smile, a wish that the rest of our trip went without incident, and to have a great day.—-We were so, SO blessed by her kindness that I cannot tell you how wonderful that made our day and prevented a situation that could have been a lot worse. In this world where there are plenty of folks out there who like to complain or point out problems, it was a pleasure (and a great example for our young daughter traveling with us) what kindness from strangers looks and feels likes again. BECKY is the reason folks (including us) will come back to your clean and courteous Maverik gas station in Buffalo, WY. BECKY definitely went above and beyond today, and is a shining example of Excellent Customer Service and a beautiful person! Thanks BECKY! We paid-it-forward today because of YOUR kindness to a family from Colorado! P.S. We did make it to Sheridan, WY and bought a new car battery. Sent from my iPhone”

“Where can you get a burger, fried chicken, BBQ, taco, or ice cream? The Dash Inn, that's where. Had the bacon dash burger and a taco. Both were great and hit the spot. Definitely recommend checking this place out!”

The animal on the wall almost talk to you 😉, the waitress has been very nice and did all the best to make me comfortable, the BISON STEAK has been a pleasant tasty surprise, ( TRIED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE ) and I can't say anything bad about this place. “To the owners, your staff needs more support. Other than the long wait to be seated, long wait to get food.....The food itself is awesome! I completely recommend the pizza. They have a fire brick oven and you can watch them cook behind the glass. This place is located in the downtown area and not far from a beautiful stream. Definitely will come back when in the area”

“Excellent service!!! They serve your dinner as it’s supposed to be - bringing appetizers, bread, and entrees in order and allowing good 30 minutes in between, so you can talk. Allow for 2 hours to really enjoy this amazing dinner experience. Food is great, elk steak is to die for!”

“Quaint old time restaurant. Food was fantastic. I personally enjoyed the hamburger and fries. Fresh ground patty that was hot and delicious. I was told that the Ruben was equally as tasty as well as the grilled chicken salad. Friendly service at a reasonable price. Worth the stop in this small mountain town. Plenty to do in the town of Buffalo Wyoming in itself with the historic city and shops”

“Service was great, place was clean and other patrons seemed to be enjoying their meals. Made it back to The Southside Grill recently and had a great experience this time around with my meal. Enjoyed the lunch special, beef tips, mac n cheese and green chili tots! All were very tasty!!! Staff was friendly and engaging, despite the busy time of day. Left room for the brownie for a sweet ending. Amazing!! So glad we stopped in and decided to stay for lunch!!”

“Had a late anniversary dinner here due to road conditions the past few weeks for something new. We weren't disappointed. We had a 4pm reservation so we only got the lunch menu but we both left stuffed full for a very reasonable price. Very friendly service, and great atmosphere. We will be back for sure.”

“My wife and I just moved to Wyoming and are still appreciating the Bighorns and the foothills. It's a beautiful place, and that's the first thing that will strike you as you approach TA Ranch. It's beautiful here. Pulling up, it's a bit confusing because none of the buildings in the compound immediately jump out as being a restaurant. We parked three times before deciding where to go. Inside, it looks just like you want it to. It's spacious, rustic, and homey. I wish the drapes had been open so we could enjoy the view. We started with the wedge salads and I have to say, they were perfect. Crispy home fried bacon, cold crunchy lettuce, and juicy tomatoes. Perfect. My New York steak arrived and it was a bit thinner than I'd hoped, had a bit more gristle than I hoped, and was slightly undercooked. The herb butter on top though, and the juiciness of the meat, more than made up for any shortcomings. The scalloped potatoes were good, and the vegetable it came with was stir-fried snow peas, which were incredible. The server was new -- her fifth night serving ever -- and service was slow. They gave us a couple of small berry cobblers as an apology. My wife chose the brisket and it was meaty, smoky, and tender. I like the place. Everyone was so nice. The prices were good, and the food was good. If I may nit-pick, I have two issues I want to raise. First, about half the restaurant has normal chairs. By that, I mean they're made of wood or steel, and you can trust them. The other half are the flimsiest folding chairs you've ever seen. They're difficult to sit on, very uncomfortable, and I feared it would give out any second. My other issue is that I didn't know you could get a steak knife that is that cheap. It too was flimsy. It tore the steak to shreds, and that was when it cut the steak at all. A little investment in some solid chairs and quality food service steak knives would not only go a long ways for your customers, but would have caused me to give a fourth star. UPDATE: We went back this week and what a difference. The owner explained that we had been there on their busiest day ever, and most of her crew was working their first shift. This time, the rolls were nothing short of incredible. The salads were cold and fresh. I had the burger and it’s over-the-top delicious. I’ve added two stars. This place is great.”
