“Great energy and selection—loved this donut shop! We spent an overnight in Sheridan and wanted to catch a donut before heading west. We found Sheridan Donut Company open in the early morning and easy to find. The staff were fantastic: friendly and efficient. The facility was sparkling clean and well decorated. The donut selection was impressive with both beloved standards and unique creations. The build-a-donut bar is an interesting idea. The prices were spot on. Overall, we loved the energy and donuts at Sheridan Donut Company. Highly recommended.”

“I was at Open Range for my Birthday and was very pleased. I ordered the NY Strip and it was tender and cooked perfectly. At first I wasn't sure about he Roquefort cheese but it paired very well with the steak and I was very pleased. I had the Creme Brulee and it was delicious! (I usually get the pie and always love it) I have enjoyed this place in the past as well and appreciate the menu updates and service I receive.”

“Small family owned restaurant situated in a house. Food is made by a Mexican raised woman and was served by her husband. I ordered 2 beef tacos and a side of rice, and my husband ordered the smothered burrito. Both were good. I liked it better than my husband as I found the food lighter (not greasy) than most other Mexican restaurants I gave eaten at. Everything is homemade. For me, the only thing I feel could be improved was the chips and salsa. The salsa tasted store bought and we were served a very small amount of chips. They have nice outdoor seating on a beautiful wood patio. There were also a few indoor seat. Overall, I would recommend.”

“Had the short ribs, so tender and tasty! The loaded baked potato was creamy and a fun addition to an already great meal. The roasted asparagus had the perfect texture and seasoning. “Cool modern restaurant just off downtown serving italian food. Was super excited to try the Prosciutto Fig Pizza. The flavors were great but the pizza was extremely over sauced which took away from the whole experience. Friends tried the vegan spaghetti and meatballs option and the meatballs were unfortunately still frozen. The staff said they had a number of large parties so chalking our experience up to an off night for the kitchen - would definitely give them another try as the service and atmosphere were otherwise great.”

“I love trying local pizza places when traveling and Powder River Pizza is one of the best I have eaten in a long time. We got the sampler pizza deal which is a choice of four specialty pizzas from their menu and every single one was excellent. Highly recommend Powder River Pizza if you are visiting Sheridan or need a break from traveling. Rowan was our waiter and he was excellent and extremely nice. Thank you Rowan. Service was great!”

“Randomly stopped in on a road trip and was fully satisfied with our choice. Perfect country dinner with outstanding service! The atmosphere was perfect with a counter or tables in the back, coffee served in mismatched mugs and the perfect wall decor. Food was generous and hot. In fact, hottest eggs I’ve ever been served. “I've been to over 100 breweries, and LUMINOUS is BY FAR my favorite. The styles and flavor profiles of their offerings are AMAZING, the staff is super friendly, the vibe is very chill and relaxing. While most breweries will have a few new/rotating taps, The Lumi crew CONTINUES to surprise me with updated beers, as well as their classics (the Chile ale with a slice of lime, or the Black Mountain Coffee Ale are my go-to's). I cannot rave enough about how great Luminous is. If I ever move away from Sheridan, I'd come back just to visit Luminous.”

“This place is good for their blizzards, slushees, smoothers, etc. They’re burgers, they need to do better on getting peoples orders right. That’s it. Other than that the burgers are good, no doubt in that. But today my boyfriend ordered a plain double cheese burger and whoever was taking orders repeated that exact order but when they got their food, it wasn’t plain. And I don’t know how that got messed up, but please don’t let it happen again, because some people are picky about their food and what they eat. Thank you.”

“Love this place! Their drinks are delicious, fun and creative. I gravitate towards their energy drinks, but their shakes are so yummy too! They feel so decadent, yet they are much lower in calories, plus with added nutrition such as protein. They also have protein waffles and waffle sandwiches that are absolutely delicious! Charlie is very friendly (actually, the whole staff is), and really strives to make people happy and comfortable. There's always a good puzzle on the table for those of us who like to hang out for awhile. The vibe is just super chill and comfortable. Highly recommend!”

“Go! We stumbled upon this place without knowing anything about it. It wasn't even well marked yet because it just recently opened. Once we figured out we were in the right place we went inside and came in contact with Lauren. She was a pleasure to meet and she really made us feel like we belong there, when we felt that we should have dressed more appropriately after shopping in Sheridan. We were given the menus and honestly, I felt that I was in over my head. Once again, Lauren came to the rescue and told us her favorite menu items and described other items on the menu to us. We ordered what she recommended, as well as an appetizer that she recommended, and I could not have been happier. I also asked her to surprise me with a drink and she gave me what she called a water lilly and it was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend for you to go try this out for yourself. The chef even came out and spoke to a few tables and asked how everything was. He was super nice and very well qualified. I wish Olive the best of luck!”

“A New to Sheridan restaurant/bar (at least since last summer) is the Warehouse Gastropub. Repurposed space, which was a warehouse since the 1940's. Lots of TVs for sports enthusiasts and a nice stage setup for live bands. We came here on a Friday night to see what the Warehouse Gastropub was about. It's definitely a nice clean space for food, drinks, music and sports. To start. I ordered a Left Hand milk stout and initially was served something that was definitely on nitro but was not a milk stout. How this was served by the bartender is puzzling. (Our waitress was only 18, so I understand her not knowing that a milk stout is dark and the beer she served was blonde.) I changed from the Left Hand to a Guiness and did receive a stout. (We came back a second time and sat at the bar. We determined that the beer the waitress brought me was a Left Hand sour.) I ordered a side salad, which was the smallest I have ever seen. With the ginger basalmic dressing, it was very good, but just not enough to satisfy me. (Did I mention it was $4.50. Charge me another dollar and give me an adult sized side salad, please.) My hubby had the beer cheddar soup, which was excellent. We shared a Margaretta pizza, which was quite good and made with fresh mozzarella and fresh basil. The sauce was very good! The crust was good but a bit soggy in the center. Probably too thin in the center but definitely one of the better pizzas you'll get in Sheridan. Service was okay, not stellar. We also didn’t care for the placement of the waitress order station next to our table. Overall, the Warehouse Gastropub is a nice addition to downtown Sheridan. We will likely come back to listen to live music and have a beer. Added note: sitting at the bar gave us a different perspective of this bar. The bartenders were serving a wide variety of mixed drinks, many made with fresh herbs. We may try one the next time we are here!”
