Very friendly service, and reasonable rates.

However, with my 6’3” frame there was no suitable sized bike and also no fitting helmet.. Riding a child sized bike with a too small helmet is not the greatest experience.

Rest of family was ok with the bikes.

Bikeriding on the island is 2-3 out of 5. Lots of cars, no bike lanes. Although holiday weekend so maybe much busy than normal.

Otherwise island is beautiful and has very scenic lookouts.

We rented a couple mountain-bikes at this charming, locally owned bike rental/repair shop. It’s a trek from the ferry, but within walking distance. Fun, friendly owner. Great speedy service. Reasonable prices. ?

HINT: If you’re going to use conventional bikes to get around this giant island be in good shape. Otherwise consider the e-bikes!

The owner is very friendly and knows the area very well. He was a wealth of information about where to go, restaurants, etc. He also is well versed on the bikes, including how the e-bikes are built, if that’s your thing. The rental prices are quite high relative to other places that I’ve rented bikes (previously I’ve paid $8-12 for an 8-hour e-bike rental.

The bikes are brand new too.

Very fast and knowledgable service. Cool shop and amazing location. Any problem, Wylie will most likely be able to fix.
