“I have never stayed at the inn, but we make sure that we stop at the restaurant on the way too and from our cottage on the Bruce Peninsula. This is the BEST curry I have had in North America......and I have eaten curry all over the world. I highly recommend a visit. The restaurant also serves other food, and excellent breakfasts. The mango chutney is off the chart amazing!! Mr P runs the front-of-house operation, and Mrs P is the chef. Eat there, you won't be disappointed!”

“Stopped in at the suggestion of a friend that we were visiting in the area. Everyone at the table got something different, everything was fantastic. Don't forget desert. Their ice cream sandwiches use homemade rhubarb ice cream and is sandwiched between two gingerbread cookies. The rest of the deserts, also home made. I ate way too much. Brunch Buffet on Sundays. I would have loved to have tried that...”

Service can be a bit slow but if you have lots of time, like good food that is not overly costly, and enjoy staff with a good sense of humour, you have to try this place! The motel is also clean, comfortable and affordable.”

“Biggest complaint is the serving size for the price. For example, we bought the cashew rice and added lime basil chicken. The cashew rice is $10 or so plus $5.50 for the chicken. We were really surprised when just a handful of chicken (seemed like half a breast) came, along with just a cup of rice. $5.50 for that little chicken? It was a bit disappointing and felt unnecessary. Amazing quality food though.”

“The food was decent breakfast food. Was nice that they had homemade bread and fair prices, enjoyed that but that's where it ends. It was unfortunate we had such slow service. It's a pretty small place with maybe about 12 tables, but there was only 1 server on a Sunday. Waited at least 10 minutes before she came to our table and almost half an hour after that for our breakfast. Also seemed like the teenagers in the kitchen didn't really know what they were doing as our server spent a fair amount of time in the kitchen with them cooking and telling them what they needed to do. I want to give this place the benefit of doubt that it was just a fluke visit. Will hopefully try again and see if wait times improve.”

“Such a great place for a good old fashioned homemade burger and fries. My first cheeseburger was so yummy I went back in the next day to try something completely different and the fish sandwich did not disappoint! This is a full crusted fillet of haddock on a burger bun with lettuce and tartar sauce -- and good to the last bite. The gravy is really tasty and don't forget to try the onion rings!! Large portions so more for later. You'll love the friendly staff and comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Will be back!!”

“I have been going to this Dairy Queen almost every summer for probably over 30 years. A great family treat after swimming at Memorial Park, or many other attractions in town. Typical Dairy Queen menu, great ice cream on a hot summer day. Looking forward to my next visit.”
