Great service and part of the greatness was how she took the time to interact with all of us like she knew each of us as a regular visitor even though it was our first time. “Their rooms are big, nice, modern, high quality and clean. The service was great with their servers refilling your water every time they had a chance. Music video was the actual music video of the song instead of some random cheesy acting playing in the background. “5 of us had our monthly night out and this time we chose the Symposium in Ancaster. Over the years we have been here on a few occasions and we keep coming back because we like the food, ambiance and the service is great. The manager actually came by our table to see how things were. Not many restaurants do that and it is a nice touch. Someone in the restaurant had a birthday and the manager had everyone singing happy birthday to them. A really nice evening!”

“We had a lovely afternoon sailing. Our grandchildren were thrilled. We enjoyed learning the historical facts of the area and seeing the wildlife and views . The children definitely enjoyed seeing the war ship HMS Haida from the water as well. Highly recommend the sightseeing cruise. It is for all ages. Thumbs up ????.”

“I’ve always quite enjoyed Moxies and this was the first time going to one outside of Toronto. I must say that it was an amazing time. Went there for a graduation ceremony and even my 11 year old cousin found something he liked. Good wine, food and dessert. I would definitely recommend making reservations and enjoying your time at this restaurant!!!”

“I've been to this Symposium more times than I can count. From what I hear the other locations don't compare to this one, but I don't know for sure. The owner/management are always friendly, they come around and check on every table. The restaurant is usually pretty busy (at least at breakfast) and food always comes out in a reasonable time. They also accommodate large groups very well. I'd suggest to anyone to give this place a try (go for the Cuban Sandwich). Only wish they have pancakes!”
