“Fantastic food. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back. The spring rolls were large and very fresh tasting, served with a great sauce. The tea leaf salad was a very unique blend of flavours that I really enjoyed, and was enough to share among two people. Coconut shrimp was well done, though I wasn't sure if it was meant to be eaten as a soup or just the shrimp. If not, I would have liked some rice/steamed veggies on the side. They only had 3 beers to choose from, but the owner said they would be getting more variety soon.”

Atmosphere is always party-like and noisy at this location, so head to a different location if you're hoping for a quieter meal. Only 4 stars because Lone Star has yet to add a vegan dessert to the menu. Still holding out for that. They do, however, now have quite a few vegan appetizers and main courses.”

“This is one of our favourite spots to grab a quick bite to eat. This place is great, keeping in mind, that you are purchasing the meal in a food court. This food court is beautifully adorned with plants and even a working central fireplace. It is a nice spot to people watch, if that is something that you enjoy doing. All the noodles are good but I do enjoy the thicker noodles most of all. The General Tao, Garlic, Spicy and Sweet & Sour chicken are all delicious.The shrimp is simply flavourful and so is the pork and vegetable dish. Their dumplings are delectable and their Shanghai fish hits the spot. It is terrific that they sell off their food (at a discounted price) near the end of the night. I buy enough so that I have a worry free supper the next day.”

The reason why one star is missing - for the price about $18 for butter chicken, you get only this much - almost the size of baseball. Barely enough to share between two. Qty wise not as generous as other Indian restaurants and it is something for them to improve for sure.”
