“A hidden gem in downtown Ottawa. The owner is from Mexico so the food is authentic. If you like Mexican food, this is in the top 3 of Mexican restaurants in Ottawa. The restaurant is small but very breezy when the front doors are open. The owner is very friendly and will chat with you and is happy to have feedback. I was pleasantly surprised.”

“For their pizza it’s a 5 star. Anything else...good luck. I’m a regular here and order about twice a week. Tried the beef Souvlaki for the first time...inedible and although they advertise that you get a mix of rice and potatoes with a salad...it’s just rice and salad. I got 1/2 a small potato..not a whole but HALF- you know, the ones no bigger than a knuckle. The beef was rock hard (only one stick). I threw everything out except for the small salad that came with it. Definatly NOT happy! Practically threw $15 in the trash.....????”

“I really enjoyed this bistro. I'm new to the neighbourhood and happened upon it as I was walking by. I ordered the charcuterie with two blue cheeses from Quebec. They were both fantastic, served with a homemade conserve and fresh fruit. Very nice. Service was great. The ambiance was perfect for an after work wind down. No blaring music or loud sports screens. I noticed they have a lobster roll on the menu which I'll try next time. Overall, a very pleasant experience.”

I had spaghetti noodles with rose sauce and meatballs and my son created his own carbonara creation (adding sausage) and we shared the breaded zucchini with a dill dipping sauce for appetizer. The portions were substantial and all the food was delicious. The atmosphere was quaint and unpretentious and the owner/waitress was so friendly and adorably cute. It was hands down the best Italian restaurant in Ottawa.”
