“This place is hard to find as it is in a residential neighbour hood but it is worth the effort to look closely! It reminds me of my grandmother’s tired looking kitchen but the food is amazing. My daughter had a grilled cheese oozing several kinds of cheese and crisped to perfection accompanied by chip truck french fries.My omelet was beautifully cooked and tender. The home fries and flavoured with onion and have all the lovely crispy bits. The portions are enormous and the value is crazy. I have no idea how they make money charging so little. Best.Breakfast.Ever.”

They cook everything when you order it so be sure to call ahead but that mean your food was made for you and it hadn't been sitting around in a container.Had the lamb shank meal and it was delicious!! Fall off the bone and reasonably priced. But on 2 other occasions, I came to have dinner when it was supposed to be open and it was closed.”

“Electric City Bread Company has a very bright and inviting dining area. It has a laid back ambience that is perfect for breakfast and lunch. The service was phenomenal and the food selection was small, but all the options were exceptional. I really enjoyed their squash soup that wasn't cream based! If you're in Peterborough, be sure to check out this gem. Also, their pastries are top notch. The chocolate croissant I tried was very easily the best croissant I have had in my life. My girlfriend tried the almond croissant, and she even noted that it was better than the croissant in Paris!”

“Cool old house turned into a restaurant. I had house made ice tea, liver and onions. I thought the ice tea was too bitter and could have used a little more sugar, but that's me. The liver was good with gravy. The rice was bland and tasteless. I thought it might have some butter on it, or maybe I was expecting it to have herbs or even be jasmine. I used the liver gravy to add flavour to the rice. The vegetables were the frozen mixed broccoli, carrot, and cauliflower variety, I was hoping they'd be fresh. They were the most disappointing part of the meal, and their only saving grace was the garlic butter that was put on top of them. The cheese cake was very yummy. It was between the liver or a burger and fries, I'll get the burger next time.”

“Small restaurant on one of Peterborough main streets. There is outdoor seating. Inside the decor has the Indian hints and the place looks clean. The service is attentive. The menu is extensive. The food we ordered was one of the best Indian food we have had: the variety, the flavors and the quality. One of the things we liked the best is that they accommodate to your taste: Korma, a dish that draw my attention because of all the ingredients it contained had sugar listed in the ingredients. I asked if it was too sweet as I don’t like my food sweet. The server said that since they prepare the food to order they could omit the sugar. Then I ordered that dish and it was amazing!!! The Dal soup was one of the best I have had due to the prominent flavor of lemon and cilantro.”
