“I've been to other locations of this restaurant and have not been thrilled, but this was so much better! First off, I'm from NY, and was told it's not authentic Italian, and I agree, but that doesn't make it bad at all - it's unique! Everything was fresh and tasty. Our incredibly helpful and very quick server, Lucy, was quite possibly the best server I've ever had, bar none. After my previous experience at another location, i was hesitant to order the tomato sauce, so she offered to bring me a taste. It was good, but not what I wanted, so I ordered another sauce, which was good also. If we go there again, I'll definitely ask for her. Great atmosphere, good food, and friendly waitstaff made for a wonderful experience. We'll be back for sure. Thanks, Lucy!”

“I decided to try this place out as I've heard excellent things about their food. I ordered 1lb of medium wings, mexican fries and a colonel roast chicken - it was DELICIOUS. The roast chicken was one of the best tasting dishes I've had. The wings were perfect, great size and tasty. The fries are a must to pair with any chicken dish. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this place and will be back soon. Keep up the great work!”

“I usually do take out from here. I really like the rice and the sweet and sour chicken. Prices are fair and the service is always good. I am not giving it full 5 stars just because I don’t like the fact that they open at 3PM on Sundays. For being a weekend, I guess they should be open at least at 12PM. I recommend this place if you are around the area and crave Chinese food.”

However I was more than disappointed with the service. 4 people in the restaurant other than the 4 of us and plates piling up. On a week night? No server should ever walk by your table 5 times without clearing it, or even ask on the 6th pass, "Can I take your dishes?" Nah.... No excuse... can't say too busy. The service to customers needs to match the quality of the food.”

“This restaurant was very clean. Good family atmosphere. The decor is diner style. We arrived for breakfast however I requested a halibut dinner. They were happy to accommodate this request. The halibut was nice batter was light and crispy. However I found that it was a bit overdone and greasy. Fries and coleslaw were very good. My husband had pancakes. They were light fluffy and tasted great. Waitress was nice. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.”

“Finally tried this location while visiting a friend in the area and I must say I was so glad I did! The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Location was extremely clean and service was quick even though the place was busy at the time I visited. I ordered the “half and half” and the fries, chicken and rice was so fresh and delicious. “Our first time at the Bowmanville location. Atmosphere very good. Service also good. Food was ample portions and quite tasty. We realized we were running late for a Dr appointment. I tendered a $50 gift card for a Shepherd 's Pie and a burger plus 2 coffees. The total left less than enough to leave a gratuity. We were in a rush so I didn't challenge and put the tip on another card.when I was able to call back I received an explanation that left me wanting including $8.00 for 2 coffees.”
