“Great service! Love the atmosphere! Food is so good, I haven’t found anything I don’t like! There is a huge variety of shisha flavours to choose from! There’s some great deals on drinks specials, depending on what night you go of course. The DJs are great! They have a few different DJs on different nights, so you’re always getting a different variety of good music from them. Everyone’s really nice and friendly! “T. Williams Pub & Grill is very warm, friendly establishment. The seating is very comfortable, or, one can sit at a stool at the bar. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. The staff is very accommodating and the patrons seem to generally be of a very friendly disposition. The quality of the food is impeccable and the bar is fully stocked, yet, one does't tend to see drunk, or, disorderly folks. A very laid back atmosphere.. though I must confess it is the food that I love the most, there. The chef is very experienced and versatile making for excellent entry's that are sure to please. I have been here a number of times and will definitely return. On Taunton R. East, at Taunton Square, around the mall corner from Giant Tiger, this place is like an undiscovered gem. I highly recommend this pub & grill to any and everyone.”

“Hi there, I just went with my friend and the place was beautiful and really good music. They recently changed their name JMW from Dirty Martini, it was nice to have something local open a Friday night. The place was not busy but I think with the right marketing and radio adds, this would be the nicest place in Durham. Would love to come there again when it’s a little busier! I will be back!”

“The food was delicious. There are some things on the menu that are great deals and some things that aren't, but overall it's very reasonable. The owner took the time to come over to our table and introduce himself and make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. I thought that was great because you don't get that type of care and attention at restaurants anymore. He even changed the channel for us so we could watch the game we were interested in watching. Hardy John's had earned this 5 star rating and our business in the future. Check it out.”

“A very good pub. A menu to satisfy all of our group of 8 motorcycle riders. parking was available and plentiful. We were forewarned that the spice level on their hot is hotter than what you get at the "cookie-cutter" pubs. I am not a curry dish fan, but those in our group that ordered it said it was great! We had a great lunch, the waitresses were attentive to our requests and had great recommendations, and our meals came at the same time.”

“Nice looking pub with outdoor seating facing the water and the park. Wings here were great. Tried three flavors (chipotle mango, lemon pepper and ice and fire) and all were good. Our server mixed me a great tasting Long Island ice tea. Lots of craft beer to choose from too. Service was quick, very helpful and friendly. Will visit again soon.”

We said something to the hostess and waited a little longer. Just before we were ready to walk out, a waitress came to us. We told her what happened and took care of us and gave us a discount off our bill.”

“We’ve been to the Port many times, both before the renovations, and post fire renovations. In general the food is always delicious and they have a nice assortment of drinks from the bar to enjoy. The new layout is bright and spacious, although they moved the bar and it now blocks the best views of the lake. If you ever have a chance to sit on the patio, it’s well worth it. I was there recently for Sunday Brunch and the food was mediocre. As a friend said, “Toronto prices but not Toronto quality”. Although the brunch was a bit disappointing we’ve always enjoyed our dinner and lunch meals at the Port.”

“I have a lot of food allergies and I am following a special diet for bone marrow cancer. I recently spent a month in the hospital and just got out and decided to go to Moxie’s in Pickering for dinner. I usually can’t eat anything while dining out. I usually order lemon water and steamed veggies. Both the server, Carolyn and the manager, Steve engaged me enough to figure out what exactly I was able to eat, and in fact took the list of foods I could eat directly to the chef who then created a meal on the spot specifically suited to my dietary needs. I have never once experienced anything like this. Usually, I get steamed veggies and lemon water and no one ever asked anything else to help me actually eat a meal. This experience was completely different for me and I was able to enjoy a lovely dinner this evening. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with any sort of dietary needs as they did not hesitate to accommodate me, nor did I feel like I was being a burden or high maintenance. They welcomed me and made me feel very much at home and catered to my needs specifically. Thank you so much for making me feel so happy and included at such a difficult time in my life!!!”
