Good service and decent ambiance for a chain restaurant but the food is just bland. Ordered the blooming onion and some salmon and both were nothing but ordinary. The salmon especially was just dry and didn't seem fresh at all. As for the blooming onion which is a signature dish for them it tasted like something right out of the freezer. And all this at some pretty steep prices.
On vacation? Fine..skip the next two paragraphs to the review about the food itself
The Outback here in Niagara is unfortunately an absolute tourist trap as far as price is concerned. I've included pictures of the menu so that customers know what to expect.
Beyond the prices that are a little less than double the standard Outback prices, there are taxes and fees that will increase your final bill by about 20%. Add to that a gratuity and you're now paying almost triple what this meal costs in any other area.
That's why it's three stars and not zero.
Anyway, the Bloomin onion is good. Nicely cooked and ketchup is available. The sirloin was only slightly tough with one major vein that went untrimmed. The baked potato is simple and delicious.
The drinks then the appetizers came promptly. Our prime rib & lobster tails were delicious. It was a tad pricey. Our server was very attentive. The only thing is the booths are very tight. None of our party are big people yet we struggled in & out of our seating....noticed others having the same issue.
