Founder Restaurant & Cocktail Bar

The founder is an excellent cocktail bar, just off of the Ossington strip on Dundas. The space is well designed with velvet accents, the oysters delicious and the drinks are well mixed. I had the Miguel (tequila based) and bear (gin based) and both were very good. The Miguel was more refined with egg whites and a bitter and slightly sweet finish, but the bear was just a very drinkable fruity drink that felt more appropriate for a beach in the Carribean than a Thursday in November in Toronto, but is was still refreshing. Very friendly staff,ill be back again.

Went to Founders with about a dozen people for my birthday this past weekend and it was great. They worked with me in advance to create a menu (avoiding some food allergies) and the food was delicious. Chef and staff were very nice. Service was a little slow and we didn't get out until about midnight, but besides that it was great. Would definitely recommend.

Founder bar is where you want to be if you are in the West end of the city. They definitely know how to make fancy drinks.. sailors and sinners is one of the best!

Was there for their industry night and tried about 5 drinks.. which was pretty cool and one less star is because the mentioned free snacks in their advertisement and nobody who served us talked about it.

Will be going back here to try other drinks on the menu and also not to forget their bar setting is insane and looks so cool - very good for date nights!

The team at Founders is awesome. Their fried chicken is the best in the city in my opinion. Their chef, Kendall, is awesome! The cocktails are god send. I hosted a dinner party there and was really blown away by the service provided by the whole team there. I would highly recommend people to go there for food + drinks!

Hidden gem in the west side of Toronto. Handcrafted, delicious cocktails. Varied, full wine list. Very knowledgeable staff. Homey and sophisticated mid century modern decor. Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Excellent service.
