La Chingada

Love this place. We stumbled upon it cause the other place we wanted to go to had an hours wait. This turned out to be much better! Only complain would be the music is really loud. The service is super friendly, the decor is beautiful and the food is delicious!! I would highly recommend trying the huaraches. It was my first time trying it and it was so flavourful and delicious. I would visit this place again just so I can have that again!

The food was amazing and it came quickly. The drinks are pricey but worth it. So delicious and creative. Love this place!

If you have A LOT of time and patience then this is the place for you. I have been about 5 times now, because the food is absolutely delicious and the cocktails are inventive and tasty. THE DOWNSIDE to all this is the amount of time it takes to get service and food. The servers are nice, but don't come around enough. I have been when it was very busy and when I was the only person in the restaurant and all times have been the same. It also takes a VERY long time to get your food. The food is probably the best Mexican food in the city, but I could likely fly to Mexico and back with my food still not being on the table.

The food at La Chingada is delicious! We loved how fresh and flavourful their tacos were. The ambience is nice and cozy. A great spot to visit when you’re craving some good Mexican food. Definitely be back soon!

I’ve been to a lot of Mexican places and this one is definitely up there as one of the best in Toronto. I had to try the Huaraches - and I don’t think I’ll go back to tacos! Beautiful flavours and carefully hand crafted. We also had the queso dip - SO cheesy, they don’t skimp out and it’s definitely the real stuff. We went on a Wednesday and the bottles of wine were 50% off or we would’ve tried some of the amazing sounding cocktails.
