Finally got a chance to try it out, and it was better than anticipated. The staff were so incredibly friendly, and it took little to no effort to get their attention when we were ready to order. They were helpful and patient, and 2 desserts we tried were absolutely delicious.
They did mention they have deals on weeknights, and I would have liked it they advertised that a little more, as we only found out as we were leaving.
First time here with family, they managed to impress everyone. We ordered 5 items and everything was excellent. The service was quick and food was fresh. Lawrence strip lacked a good dessert place and I think they are filling the gap. They get five stars and my return visit very soon, their brunch menu looks very promising.
Check out Johny custard for some yummy eats and desserts. I really liked their poutine which is made with veggie gravy. Super filling and hits the spot just right! And all for a generous price! You can take the cheese curds out to make the meal vegan.
The highlight for me was the chocolate fudge cake. The sponge cake was so soft and so moist. It was so easy to slice through. Not too sweet, it made the perfect dessert. The custard on top was such a treat, mixed together it made it so much better.
Very much enjoyed my visit here.
The interior is done very well and it was a pleasure eating three. Lots of desserts to choose from and wait time was minimal.
We had the strawberry banana waffle and a slice of cake which came with the Monday deal of a free milkshake after spending $20, all of it was delicious! The cake and milkshake were very great and I've heard good thinks about the custard which I haven't tried yet. The waiter Karl was an absolute gentlemen.
I believe the price point for the cake slices and milkshakes can be improved a little bit, either slightly cheaper or a bigger serving size for larger families.
This place is pretty cool and clean. Dessert menu is extensive and yummy too. They have some gluten free options too. Price point is reasonable. Highly recommended.
