“I ordered the Mixed Fruit Green Tea. It comes with a small cute fork so that you can eat the fruits afterward. The drink had nice tea flavour but I found it a bit too sweet for my liking (even after stirring it). The fruits were like 90% watermelon and 10% strawberries and a citrus fruit, so maybe they should change that. Service here was friendly and nice. I would definitely return to try some of their other drinks!”

“This place is nice, but not perfect. Our group was large, 10 people in total, and they were very accommodating by putting together 3 tables to make a big one for us, this was exceptional. After this initial great service it seemed like they took a fairly hands off approach to our group. If we wanted to order something we had to go to the bar and order ourselves. On more than one occasion I returned empty plates and glasses to make more room at the table. We were there for about 4 hours and no one asked if we needed help with games and I think they came by once to refill our glasses of water. The place is fairly small so our large group might have been intimidating to the staff. The food is tasty, but pretty much limited to fries and sandwiches. These are a fair size, but don't go here hungry expecting to get a full dinner. They have a large amount of board games, but the organization of them made it hard to figure out which ones would be actually fun to play. Again an enjoyable place to go with maybe a friend or two, but not perfect. Edit: I was originally under the impression gratuity was included for large groups, when it is not. I have changed my review accordingly, with my apologies.”

Though some people have had a history of getting the wrong amount of chicken nuggets which is strange considering that counting to 20 is not that hard for most people. In conclusion if you're looking to start a conversation with your doctor and you're fresh out of ideas, AND you're pretty hungry then this is a good place to go!”

“Excellent coffee spot! I had the "Eggy Thingy" on a cheese bagel and my partner had the Tuna Melt which has chunks of pineapple. The bread is freshly made in-house and tastes amazing. “Stopped in for a quick refuel on the way to a meeting and California Sandwiches didn't disappoint. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Sandwiches were first class. I had the hot chicken sandwich, my partner had the grilled veggie sandwich with added mushroom. Both were delicious. Wish I had bought a drink as the bun was quite dry and I was in a hurry to gulp it down but that was my mistake - a drink was offered and there was plenty of selection but I was too cheap.”

“Went here twice—overall I really enjoyed it. I had the breakfast bowl for brunch, it was delicious. I also had the Cauliflower Tahini bowl for dinner on a separate occasion which I also enjoyed. The servers were very friendly though service was a little slow.
