“It’s very unassuming when you arrive...nothing over the top in terms of decor and ambiance, but you can feel the warmth. The food is what puts this place on the map. Presentation, portion size and flavours were all outstanding! You can tell they put effort into every plate that leaves the kitchen. Definitely a place to recommend. I will be back!”

“My sister and I went today for breakfast. We were not disapointed. The food was good and waitress polite and attentive. Only thing to say was that I had poached eggs and they were a bit raw and barely warm. I’m sure just a timing thing in the kitchen. Loved having onions in my potatoes but be aware that this is extra cost - but worth it. Place was very clean and nice. Wonderful breakfast stop. The portion is great for reasonable price. Serivice was responsive and welcoming. They serve brunch too but I only had their breakfast.”

“I wanted to like this place as I’ve been desperately trying to find a good Chinese restaurant, but sadly this isn’t the place which is extra sad because the host was super nice and quite funny when I picked up my food. The general Tao flavor was there but the texture was not. Can’t say the same about the sweet and sour pork which had no flavor. The veggie spring rolls were good but the fried rice was a huge letdown. The tofu pot was bland for the most part. Can’t say I’ll go back unfortunately”

“These sandwiches especially the Dagwood sub are so delicious with their special sauce that I keep coming back for more punishment. Several times we have ended up with food poisoning and the last time I noticed one of the many reasons the meat might go bad. So...try to keep the cooler door shut after you take out some meat !!! Maybe lower the temperature in the cooler as well to keep the meat fresh etc etc. Thanks.”

“Went in needing a giant salad with some chicken and the chicken gyros ceasar was just the thing. The salad was nice and fresh, and the chicken warm (although a bit dry) but it was just what I wanted. Service is fast and friendly. Parking outside is full. Wheelchair accessible.”

However the way she handled it was amazing, she was dealing with a client who had a difficult kid but was able to get everyone served within a timely manner and do it with a smile. “We had dinner here on Christmas Eve. The restaurant was full, service was great and the food at Madison's never disappoints! I had the filet mignon and asked for it "blue" and it was cooked perfectly. Kind of lacking something in flavour though... prepared with only salt and pepper on - a side of blue cheese or melted brie can be added which I should try next time. Sister thought his ribs and mashed potatoes were perfect. We had a calamari appetizer and the hot brownie dessert which were both fantastic. I do think that plates were arranged and presented in a nicer way at the Laval location which we visited recently, especially the dessert. Overall though we had a great time and definitely would return!”

“It took over the location of the old Tamara and they have fixed up the place a bit to improve the ambience. The lighting could be lowered a bit, and candles on the table at night would be a nice touch, but overall it is a big improvement. The food was very reasonably priced and excellent. The cod dish which was a new addition to the menu was very good, and the fresh pasta was cooked perfectly. Not a big wine list, but decent every day wines at a reasonable price. Well worth a try.”
