“Really cool place. The people were extremely friendly. We will definitely go back. We would like to see more grilled items on the menu, but other than that it was great.”

“This is a excellent restaurant with great food and service - but not for folks who frequent Capt D's or Cracker Barrel - it's pricey. We had a friendly waiter who explained the specials , brought our drinks and never wandered too far. We had a table of 6 and 4 got the "special" grouper that was incredible. I also had the baked oyster appetizer and no, I did not share. This is a really fun place to go with an upscale ambiance , great food and service. We all gave it an A+.”

“Overall the restaurant is good but a bad server ruins a night. We dropped in to see a friend play music which happened to be during happy hour. We ordered a couple appetizers and several drinks. Service was extremely slow despite being very uncrowded. My last beer was delivered about a half hour after ordering and after we had paid check and were leaving. Fortunately in a plastic cup. When the bill arrived, it is on a computer screen with only information on how much tip to add. Fortunately I added my email address and got to look at what I paid. I went back to my server and asked why my bill was so high and she responded "did you want the happy hour prices?" No, I just enjoy paying more than I am supposed to. I know restaurants are suffering with a labor shortage and having to hire whoever they can get. Overall I would recommend the restaurant but if Morgan is your waitress, expect disappointment.”

“A great venue with multiple boutiques and restaurants. Love the restaurants. Especially FreshOBA and The Gulf Shores Steamer love The food and great customer experience that we have received. The SanRoc Cay also has an Art and Farm Market every first Wednesday and I love the produce and the honey man!! Definite plus”

“I got some good pizza here and an even better deal on ice cream. My family was staying at the hotel and wanted some pizza as a mid afternoon snack. The pizza was pretty decent…in fact much better than expected! Ten times better than some pizza I recently had at Houston Hobby airport that we paid three or times more for. Then my daughter and I went for ice cream later. The night before we went out for ice cream, and paid more for three scoops than we did for two scoops here...and it was made by the same company. Definitely would go here again for ice cream and pizza.”

“Upscale feel; relaxing panoramic view of the beach. Staff very professional and helpful with recommending the perfect wine with your meal. My steak was cook perfectly and so tender, my mouth is watering just writing about it. It is a bit pricey, but worth every penny.”

“Been here several times over the last three years. The outside seating by the docks is a great atmosphere. Service always good, food delicious and great drink menu. Very different from all the tourist-y, fried seafood palaces in the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area. Classy. The pimento cheese, hummus and fried oyster apps are delicious, as are the burgers and the fish specials. But rest assured, it has a fried shrimp basked for those who like the basics. Garrett is a great server. Enjoy!”

“What a nice time we had there.. unfortunately we didn’t go there to eat but my husband had the chicken wings and they were great! My nephew-The Funky Lampshades - was the entertainment so we went to listen to him. Great atmosphere and people. The weather was so nice and the sunset was picture perfect! Highly recommend 👍🏼👍🏼”

“Don't give up getting there! On the water back in a residential area? Food is not great, but good. Open air, casual, comfortable getaway. Pleasant staff!”

“Always a fun place. My out of town guest always request it for the first refreshment stop. I use to beach my boat there but they have covered the area with rick rack. Only a minor detraction in what I guess is called advancement.”

“We went here for supper because they took reservations and I'm glad we did. The décor was fresh, bright and very pleasing. The view was beautiful and looks out over the water. They had outside dining for those looking for it. We had drinks at the bar before being seated and the bartender took care of us quickly. While the menu may be limited in size what they served was excellent. We had conch fritters, Mexican sweet corn, and the tuna dip for our appetizers which I recommend. The fritters were so good we ordered another round. Our main course was again excellent and we were very pleased. You won't be disappointed in going there. Because of limited staffing the restaurant was not jamb packed with people and made for a pleasant evening. Wait staff was very attentive and nice. We plan to eat there again this week if possible.”

“This place is a hidden gem in OBA! My boyfriend and I happened to stumble upon this awesome restaurant. The restaurant is very quaint but the food and the view pack a punch! We’ve visited this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. The menu is small but the attention to detail of every item on the to the mixed drinks and craft beer are on par. I highly recommend checking this restaurant out if you are visiting the area or live locally. You will not be disappointed!!! * Upscale bar food, family, pet and boat friendly”

“I ate at Shrimp Basket twice while I was in town. I did not have to wait for a table. The wait staff was awesome. The food was amazing as always. I had shrimp fries and hush puppies in the traditional shrimp basket. I would recommend Shrimp Basket to anyone that likes seafood. I will definitely visit Shrimp Basket again next time I visit Orange Beach.”

“The best donut shop around! We come here almost every day for our annual beach vacation. They have such a fun and tasty selection of donuts. I'm so grateful they aren't closer to us because otherwise I'd be in trouble! Their apple fritters are the best, but they can sell out, so get there early or place an order ahead of time.”

“Stop the presses! Blessed cr-p!!! For all the years I've been coming here, I've typically stayed with burgers or something like that. In any case, I just brought the isolate uncommon infant back rib dinner home and was overwhelmed. These are probably the best, delicate tumble off-the-bone ribs I've at any point had. So. Great.”

“We loved everything! Got right in and the service was great. Some people have complained about paying more if you use a credit card but the reality is that there is a discount for cash. We didn't feel anything was overpriced. I also love the atmosphere of the place. Original wood floors. REAL aged finishes. Very charming. Food was delicious.”

“Absolutely Fabulous! Waitress was outstanding! Food was amazing! Steak was cooked to perfection! This is our new favorite place and we will go every time we return. We were NOT dressed appropriately (embarrassed) and they still treated us as if we were dressed correctly. Please wear MORE than shorts/t-shirt! This place is NICE!”

“I was not too thrilled. It may be ok to run in and grab a quick bite . My wife thought it was good. The whole visit was somewhat disappointing. We have Mexican food about twice a month at home. The quality here really makes me appreciate the restaurants at home even more.”

“If your looking something a little different and really tasty, Aloha Hawaiian Grill is your place I’ve been at least three times and I always leave with the same feeling, that was really good! You pick your meat, chicken, steak, or pork and then the sides. I always get the rice and leafy greens. It’s very healthy and super filling. Really a nice find in Orange Beach. Thanks guys! See you next time”

“My favorite cafe in the neighborhood! Baristas are all so wonderful and sweet. Great place to meet friends, have a quiet coffee in the morning or even work. My favorite is the coconut vanilla latte with oat milk, a little pricey, but I promise you won't find another cup of coffee as delicious.”

“This was our first time visiting and we had a wonderful experience. Initially we were told a 30 to 45 minute wait because they were short staffed, which is understandable right now. We were able to wait at the bar and get drinks for our family while we waited. We only had to wait about 15 minutes on our table was ready. All of the staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. We had a burger, chicken tenders and wings in our order and they were all phenomenal. The chicken tenders were especially fresh and the chicken was fantastic.”

“Wish we would have ate here our 4 days in Orange Beach! Very convenient as it was in walking distance of our hotel, Hampton Inn & Suites. Flavor was great, crust was good also. Staff was friendly and food came out within 25 minutes. Waitress was great as of course having to really multi-task due to how busy it was and staffing. Highly recommend! Cesar Salad was good but not plentiful for the price. Pizzas that we had were the Angry Pig, Krew, and Pepperoni. Highly satisfied!”

“Our server, who was the bartender also, was fantastic!!!! He explained how the Boils worked, as it was our first time there, and answered all of our questions with a smile. The food was excellent- we got the King crab with shrimp and a lobster tail, along with the potatoes, corn and sausage. For an appetizer we got the fried clams and they too were delicious. We will definitely be back on our next trip down. Great food and a good atmosphere.”

“Hubby's blizzard and my milk shake were great! They were very busy but the line moved quickly and our order only took a few minutes. Great customer service as the lady that took our order was friendly and efficient.”

“The whole team was super welcoming and friendly, even though we came in somewhat late. The barbecue (pulled pork and smoked chicken sandwiches) was AMAZING. My husband and I could have easily eaten another sandwich each. The baked beans were a little spicy but delicious nonetheless, the mac and cheese is incredibly good, and the potato salad was fabulous as well. The fourth side we got was banana pudding but we haven't tried it yet (taking it back to the hotel to eat it there). I love that they let you order banana pudding as a side instead of having to get two sides with your sandwich and then a separate dessert. Long story short- this place is awesome and we'll be back whenever we're in the area again!”

“Dedicated staff in a convenient location. Personally, I thought the pizza was really terrible, but my kiddo enjoyed it and other reviewers seem to like it as well so it’s just another example of how personal tastes are. What impressed me though was the staff. My pickup order was supposed to be ready just before closing time. When I arrived, the restaurant was full and there were two other pickups waiting in front of me. Even though the 4 employees were visibly exhausted and overwhelmed, they moved like a well oiled machine. I’ve never seen a pizza kitchen move so efficiently. After waiting a few minutes (now after technical closing time) another family came in ready to place an order to-go. The cashier looked a little frustrated (who wouldn’t be) but just leaned over to the guy making the pizzas, asked if they had enough dough left to take another order, and politely helped the customer. They probably had about 10 or 12 boxes prepped, waiting for pizza to come out of the oven, but my order was still ready within the 45 min to an hour they promised. Even though I couldn’t make myself eat more than 1 slice of the pizza, I’ll give this place another go just because of the employees.”
