“I ordered the pecan pralines, candied pecans and pecan oil from their online website. I had a question and sent a message on a Sunday morning. They responded within less than 5 minutes and were very helpful and most pleasant. I placed my order and it arrived within three days. The pralines are to die for. I have used the oil once and it's so light and tasty. I will be ordering again soon.”

“We dined at the Ginger Root on Valentine’s Day and everything was phenomenal. Shortly after we were seated we were greeted by Laura (she’s the chefs wife), very kind and welcoming. Our appetizer was the charcuterie board, not only was it yummy but it was beautiful. The potato soup was so warm and delicious on this chilly night. The entrees were delicious, but the best part was the dessert— my favorite was the cheesecake. We will certainly be back. What a great asset to Samson!”

“The food is always good, but service is pretty lacking. If you try to call in an order and they ask to put you on hold, just say no because they won't come back and it won't hang up their end when you hang up and try to call back. Also, sometimes when I go in to eat, the staff seems like they do not want to be there and waiving them down can be a bit difficult at times. But the food is delicious and is one of the only good restaurants in town”
