Yo' Mama's

Second time visiting here! Love the atmosphere! I had the wings plate. Wings were really good, fries were on point, everything was hot and to top it off they thank you by name. I didn't even know they knew my name. Great lunch spot, small but a must try. I plan to go back and will update my review as I try different things on the menu.

Gluten free and delicious! I died and went to heaven. Owners who are colorful and female is a bonus in my book. I encourage you to eat here. Gourmet southern cheese grits and shrimp with wonderful sausage was my first meal which had me dreaming about this place and had the gluten free meal of the day which was chicken parmigiana on a return visit which did not disappoint. They have sweet tea too, it is Birmingham after all. Organized for take out- be safe. Support a localy owned restaurant.

My sister and I decided to have lunch at the last minute and we wanted to try something different. She sent me a list of options and “Yo Mama’s” was one of them. It was “Pork Chop Tuesday” and we decided to test it out. We both give this a 10/10 from excellent customer service to the food expectations. Good southern cooking and it’s black-owned. 😋😱 We will definitely be back again.

GREAT PLACE TO STOP ON THE WAY TO FLORIDA! Fast service, the people are soooo kind they helped us bring tables outside so we could sit outside and made sure that our food was exactly how we wanted it! The food was DELICIOUS and it’s all gluten free!! Definitely coming here again! Love the name too;)
