“Had a meeting there with friends. Salad was great. Apitizer was fresh and HUGE!!! Was full after two courses. Steak and fries were very good. Steak was cooked properly, without the spices per my order. Fries were plentiful and golden brown. Crispy and too hot to eat! Dessert was not needed but I couldn't resist. Service tomes were fantastic. As I finished the salad here came the entree with huge sides. Dessert order was on time, dessert was very fast. Dessert was..... Anyway, it is definitely the best Chinese food in town, bar none. You try and find better. You can't. I've been to probably 15 of them around town. This place is in a class of its own. “I go to buy the granola but I always end up with a bagel too. I just can't help it. The everything bagel, whether it is the bagel or a sandwich with anything you could want on a bagel is everything you would want to eat. But I actually go there to buy the granola because I can't find a better granola on earth. Stumbled upon this place when killing time in Birmingham, such a cute location tucked next to a great nursery! Also a great selection of bagel and coffees and friendly staff”

“OMG. Got the street corn. Can’t go wrong with anything but I actually went back twice in one day for that corn and mole sauce. LOVE this place. If I lived in Birmingham I’d be a regular for sure. Don’t skip it! Drive to cabana heights and get some real fresh Latin food! Dreaming of it now. Not to mention amazing customer service of course! Thank u for a great experience.”

“The nature of my work being construction... has me returning to this particular location time and time again. Every experience is phenomenal. The staff are all very courteous and inside is very clean and orderly. While the homewood location wasn’t answering their phone... this one was. Hats off to the wonderful staff here and keep up the good work. I’ll do my best to keep coming back to this location. I’d list a pic of the pizzas... but we were extremely hungry! I wasn't handed my receipt after running my card the guy went to pull pizzas from the oven he came back to give me my pizza and threw receipt away.”

“Was really excited to eat here based on the overall reviews and the recommendation of the hotel staff. Very disappointed in the quality& quantity. Ordered the beef and shrimp fajitas. 4 pcs of shrimp and three paper thin slices of some sort of beef. Wasn’t traditional skirt steak. Primarily got a heaping pile of veggies without much protein. It’s was just “okay” at best.”

“Ate breakfast there today and it was fabulous. Had the breakfast sandwich on whole wheat bread and conecuh sausage. It was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Also, got to taste their new peanut butter cookie and it was great also. Service was good & food is excellent. Also, called Smoothrock Cafe and located under dermatology doctor office. It is worth the trip!!”
