“Let me begin by stating that I am not a vegetarian, far from, and I have never considered a vegetarian restaurant. This is not a place I would have visited if not for the suggestions of some friends of mine. Stopped by today for lunch as I was in the area. Not busy at all at 12:30. In fact, I was the first person in the door, although five or six people walked in shortly after me. Based on their suggestion, I decided on the Jackfruit taco plate. The food, I must say, was delicious! No unusual flavors or consistencies. Everything was hot and fresh and seemed very high quality. I can't really say I was surprised as I didn't have any expectations going in, but I was very happy! That having been said, I believe there was an unusual circumstance going on today as it took some 45 minutes for me to receive my food. Considering I was the first person in the door and the first to order, I don't understand that at all. In addition, in my opinion, the price was about 1/3 more expensive than it should have been. Had it not been for the high cost and the hard to excuse wait, I would have given them a higher rating. As it stands, I am not in a hurry to return.”

“This was my first visit to Rolo's in several years. I went after seeing that they were open for breakfast. Rolo's is a traditional diner. The food is inexpensive, the service is good, and the meals were served as ordered and generally very good. I ordered fried eggs with toast and potatoes. The toast and eggs were cooked perfectly. The potatoes were also very good. They appear to be potatoes that were frozen after being cut into small cubes. The sausage was also very good. There were two pieces of sausage which I had not expected. My dining companion ordered a biscuit and a scrambled egg. The biscuit was good but tasted as of it had been frozen and warmed up rather than made from scratch as is the case at some breakfast locations. The top was black as it had been burned rather than cooked to a light brown. On a subsequent visit at lunch, we ordered the whole catfish (bone-in). Servings are available with one or two fish. One was plenty. It was cooked to a golden brown and had a good taste. The mashed potatoes and green beans were also very good. The hushpuppies were a little dry for my taste but not inedible by any means. I suggest trying the peach cobbler for dessert for those who still have an appetite for dessert after a good-sized meal. It was sweet and had good texture and flavor. Our server was very efficient, friendly, and everything was served quickly. Overall, this was a good experience.”

“Absolutely fantastic! Walking in, the atmosphere is so nice and cute! The host was so polite and nice and sat us at a table in the bar. Our server was honestly one of the best servers we've ever had. She was so nice and polite and personable. She interacted with my son so well, too! Then the food - AMAZING! We had chicken katsu and the Alabama roll. Both were served beautifully and tasted delicious. Then we had the fried cheesecake and it was great! The tempura breading on it was so light and perfect. My almost 9 year old son says "The food was incredible and amazing. The best restaurant I have ever been to!"”

“The food was outstanding! It was my first time here. I got what the lady at the window recommended. 3 tacos, 3 limes, and soup. I asked for green sauce, and although they were busy, they didn't forget it. The soup was so delicious. I waited for a good bit, but she gave me a beeper so I could wait in my car. If a lot of car is there it's hard to get outta there.”

“Shrimp Poor Boy was tasty, but I am not used to tails with my fried shrimp - yields a totally different texture. Other than that, our experience was wonderful during Sunday brunch and so the 5-star rating holds. The tails is a personal preference and DOES NOT impact my rating. Shout out to Wesley G. = terrific and attentive server and excellent during composer! The Jalapeño Margarita was spice and had a great “KICK” and the Blackberry Whiskey Sour was so delicious that I had to drink two!”

“Wow is the best description! My love had the gyro, I had the duck sandwich. Our waitress Allie truly knows the menu, she helped me pair the dressing & wine with my duck. 5 star serving & purely gourmet meal. Highly recommended.”

“First time visiting and we will be back! We had the floret tacos which were surprisingly good and very flavorful (I am not a vegetarian but would order them again). We tried the drink special (strawberry hibiscus latte) and it was delicious! Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. The only negative is the parking, but at least there is an easier way to get out around the back.”

“Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back again. I have tried açai from other places around Huntsville and hands down City Bowls has them beat by miles. And they weren’t greedy with the toppings, Amen!”

“We stopped in here for some evening caffeine since we had been running around all day. If I lived in Huntsville, this would be my go-to coffee shop. Cool location in the old part of town with lots of outdoor seating. I loved the decorations as well as the coffee options. The baristas were super nice. I'll be back next time I'm in town.”

“We enjoyed the food. We came one day during the week for dinner and we've also be on Sunday for the buffet. Food was good and serving sizes were good. I wouldn't say sharable. The buffet had a nice mix of vegetarian and meat dishes. We will probably be back, but only for a date night or special occasion because it is expensive!!!”

“I’ve been ordering from Rookiez for years and have followed them for three different locations. Matt has ALWAYS come through with the best wings in Huntsville. I will continue to order from them and am hooked, not a better place in town.”

“I finally got to try Cava here in Huntsville and I am so glad they are here. The food is amazing - light and fresh. I’ve had other Mediterranean fast casual that was greasy, salty and heavy. Not Cava! The vegan options are amazing - I had the garlic dressing and preserved lemon vinaigrette and I had to check the menu three times to make sure they were vegan, they were that good! And everything else on my build-your-own bowl was mouthwatering. My only complaint on this visit was that I asked for arugula and got cilantro instead. I told the server repeatedly that the greens looked like cilantro and she assured me it was arugula. She did ultimately offer to let me get different greens but I said no. When I got home and ate my food, it was indeed cilantro (as you can see in the video!). Good think I love cilantro too, just really wanted arugula that day. All in all, will definitely be visiting again and again. Thanks for coming to Huntsville!”

“Love the Frenchie! I always get the syrup and jam on the side so I can add just a touch of sweetness since I have to limit my sugars. My daughter loves the chicken and gray. Neither of us liked the load tots. They were gummy on the inside and tasted like trouble. Coffee is good and the staff is wonderful. We really enjoy it. We forgot to take before pics, sorry!”

“I ordered a chicken solo to go after 9pm on Saturday night. Walked in and ordered it minus the soup because I was walking back to my 18-wheeler at Sam's Club nearby. Vegetables were soft, moist, and still plenty warm by the time I opened them. The taste was as you'd expect and not spicy. The chicken had a nice hibachi cooked texture and was properly cooked and roughly thumb-sized chunks. The vegetable fried rice was served as you see in the photos - as if it were ice cream from a scoop. Nice presentation, even in togo form! The yumyum sauce was just that, and it comes with one small cup, so if you like it, order a second one. The ginger salad was crispy, and the dressing came in a small cup to measure out as much as I wanted (all of it)! It had that familiar little zing to it. Only 2 pieces of chicken seemed undercooked and chewy, so that's not a deal-breaker for me. All in all, I'm thrilled to have stopped in at Rock N Roll Sushi tonight. It's a ten minute walk from Sam's Club. If I get to Huntsville again, I will be happy to become a repeat customer. Run DMC, No Doubt and Oasis videos played while I was there. The men's room was clean and stocked with soap and paper towels, etc. Staff was happy and friendly even in the last hour of their shift. I have a shellfish allergy, which I didn't mention to them when ordering, and I still had no adverse effects, so apparently, they are on top of their game where cross-contamination is concerned! Thanks so much for a great experience. Thanks to you folks, there is one less hungry trucker in the USA tonight! Update* I am now a repeat customer. Sunday, I got an order of chicken fried rice to go, and it was delicious. 1 scoop of rice with chicken chunks on the side, with 1 yumyum sauce included.”

“Tyler was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable about the food but the restaurant in general. He gave excellent recommendations and we got exactly what he recommended and it was the best dinner we’ve had there so far. We commented on the artwork and he was happy to tell who the artist was and their location and was knowledgeable on the little details between the Madison location vs. the Huntsville location. We were very very impressed and will be back asking for him.”

“I tried African food for the first time and I didn't expect to love it. The food was flavourful but not to the point where you can't try the plantain or other food. I would recommend it again not only for the flavor but also for the service. They were really nice and help me choose something to eat for a starter.”

“My coworkers and I truly enjoyed this place. The food was, to say the least, amazing! The flavor and the quality were perfect. The service was great. Everyone was so attentive and patient. We asked questions about their beer selection, and they were knowledgeable, which made everything easy. There was a live band there that was perfect for our dinner time experience.”
