Tenders

Address: 527 Wynn Dr NW, Huntsville, AL 35816, USA

Restaurant

“This place is amazing. Occasionally they will forget a drink on an order or forget sauce. But i keep coming back because they are so damn good. Fresh. Crispy. And seasoned to perfection. I love their tenders sandwich, the tenders, but the fries are my favorite. They are the reason for my loyalty. Oh and the TENDERS SAUCE. Yummmm”

Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Center

Address: 930 Old Monrovia Rd NW, Huntsville, AL 35806, USA

Restaurant

“This establishment when you first walk in grabs your attention in every direction but that soon fades as you see the prices. Everything is pretty high. I would recommend bowling during their specials for unlimited bowling and game combos. This is cheaper than pay as you play but still pricey for some consumers. If you like to have a few drinks well... Be prepared for NYC prices, they are outrageous! $19 and change for a double Jamenson and coke that isn't even made well. You have your choice of the wait staff or the bar, either way you will probably have a long wait. The staff tends to either disappear or ignore you all together for the current pointless conversation they are having with a friend or coworker. All in all this place needs a better pricing structure and better customer service. You get more bees with honey!”

The Great Room

Address: 5 Tranquility Base, Huntsville, AL 35805, USA

Restaurant

“I visited for Huntsville Restaurant Week and went for the three course dinner menu. The Caprese Salad starter was incredible! Made with fresh heirloom tomatoes, the salad and dressing was just bursting with umami. It was really surprising how well the entire dish came together. For the entree I went with the Shrimp and Grits option. This was sadly a step down in quality from the starter. The shrimp were overcooked. And the prep work was inconsistent - all of the shrimp had their tails removed except two?? The caramelized onions were barely caramelized and the knife work on them was similarly inconsistent - pieces julienned were next to pieces wider than my thumb. The temperature control was similarly off - some areas of the dish were piping hot, other areas were clearly lukewarm. The dessert was delicious, but construction was odd. The banana's foster crepes were created with vanilla bean ice cream logs that were presumably piped out into logs, refrozen, then wrapped with the crepes. Therefore the crepes were neither warm, nor had the fringe crispiness that adds textural contrast. The crepes were just like soggy paper wrapping around the ice cream. Further, everything was slathered in chocolate and caramel syrup that smothered any flavor from the actual banana's foster aspect. Creativity, definitely for the idea, but execution was poor. I suppose given the air of the restaurant I expected better quality. It was okay for any other place, but you can't argue with the price/restaurant week special!”

West End Grill

Address: 6610 Madison Pike Ste 109, Huntsville, AL 35806, USA

Restaurant

“I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The food and staff are always excellent! If you’re looking for some home cooked food, and don’t want to do it yourself, this is the place. They have a good-sized restaurant seating area, and a bar with ample seating, too. I tried the Ruben when I was there and it was amazing. I’ve also had the patty melt which was fabulous. They have a very large selection, so you will find something you like there. It’s in a strip mall, so it doesn’t look all that fabulous from the curb. But the food is a whole other matter!! Give it a try :-)”

El Coyote

Address: 6610 Madison Pike #102, Huntsville, AL 35806, USA

Restaurant

“Good lunch buffet for a quick meal, but a little pricey ($12 for buffet + drink) if you're not going to get more than 1 plate. Rarely any issues getting seated and buffet is short, but has a decent selection. Line typically moves quickly.”

Venice Pizza

Address: 6610 Madison Pike, Huntsville, AL 35806, USA

Meal delivery Restaurant

“Absolutely are most favorite Italian place in town! What we love best is that the pizza actually has amazing flavor. We can taste the garlic and herbs and everything! This is a wonderful place for families with kids. It's a great place for a business meetings too. The staff is quick, the food is excellent, and I have been going here since 2010.”

Rocket City Tavern

Address: 2100 Rideout Rd, Huntsville, AL 35808, USA

Restaurant

“Very nice meal here with a large group. We were seated in a banquet room with varied seating options, large tables for 8 and small tables for 4. Self serve tea and water was very convenient. The servers circulated through the room taking drink orders. DH said he has had a better martini, but it did come with three olives so he was happy. The shrimp and grits received rave reviews from every one who ordered it. I had one of the chicken salads and it was very good. Came dressed with a sesame dressing. It was good, but it needed a little something else. Some cheese and chopped apples would have been a nice addition. Plenty of lettuce, nice leafy lettuces, not iceberg. The room was decorated in these great old photographs from Redstone's early years. They drew the attention of everyone in the room. A good time was had by all.”

Fiero Mexican Grill

Address: 2100 Rideout Rd, Huntsville, AL 35808, USA

Restaurant

“I want to first state that I love the food at Fiero. I have been coming here faithfully since it opened a few years ago. Due to their location and I guess the agreement they have with the Arsenal they are only open until 3:30. This is no big deal to me since I live on the other side of town and only eat it when I am at work. Now here comes my negative. I eat lunch a little late just so I can avoid crowds during lunch. The first few years eating here I never really had a complaint at all and the workers were great. However, the past year or so they have started to run out of food or stopped making food sometimes near 1:30. I think that is unacceptable. Now, most days they do not have chips after 1:00 and we have complained about this multiple times. You can tell the workers do not care which I think is a shame and sadly it's probably a reflection of management. I think it is ridiculous to not have CHIPS and some meats 2 hours before you close. I cannot imagine walking into Rosie's 2 hours before close and being informed that they had no chips or some food unavailable. I'm pretty sure half of Huntsville would be up in arms with some people calling the local news :-)”

DipWich Original American Sandwiches

Address: 2100 Rideout Rd, Huntsville, AL 35806, USA

Restaurant

“Prices were very reasonable and staff was friendly. The food was fresh and had a more homemade quality than factory fresh. Only problem was limited seating.”

White Bison Coffee

Address: 115 Graphics Dr, Madison, AL 35758, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“It's a science to brew a good cup of coffee. They employ a high tech method for brewing coffee using the pour over method. Grounds and water are precisely measured, water heated to an exact temperature all results make for a smooth tasting coffe. Wish they had regular decaf brewed in the afternoon as pour over was a little pricey.”

Megabytes Cafe

Address: 305 Intergraph Way, Madison, AL 35758, USA

Restaurant

“Enjoyable and convenient as well as reasonable”

Little Libby's Catfish

Address: 234 Lime Quarry Rd, Madison, AL 35758, USA

Restaurant

“Oh heavens, best county food served in this town!! They have absolutely the best club sandwich ever!!! Lunch plates are the bomb, and the dessert is included as well as your drink. The dessert is a reason to visit alone. The TRUE southern FOOD EXPERIENCE THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!! We go every chance we get!!”

Villalongin Mexican Cantina

Address: 8694 Madison Blvd Suite F, Madison, AL 35758, USA

“Nice place. The chips and salsa are good. The staff if friendly and helpful. This is an average sized restaurant with good food. I'm not the most experienced with Mexican, so please take with a grain of salt.”

Madison Station Bar & Grill

Address: 8694 Madison Blvd, Madison, AL 35758, USA

Restaurant

“I love everything about this place except the smoking. Yuck. I would seriously give 2 stars because of the smoking, but I liked the place and had a good time playing bingo last night drinking my Long Island iced tea”

Madison House of Pizza

Address: 8644 Madison Blvd, Madison, AL 35758, USA

Restaurant

“all the food is great, best being the steak grinders and pizzas are great especially without a trillion wet topping or veggies, they are hit or miss, never know how the crust will be. but all the teens there are good guys and the owner is a great guy and has passion in what he does, only issue is that big fella behind the corner, he is kinda creepy. but i highly recommend going. best pizza in north Alabama!”

Edo

Address: 104 Intercom Dr, Madison, AL 35758, USA

Restaurant

“Yes I recommend! Fantastic restaurant with very good food. The atmosphere is like one being on the streets of Japan. Ask to sit in the back rooms, where you sit on the floor to eat. WARNING you will have to remove your shoes to sit there... So no smelly feet please. We had to endure a smelly table next to us. Don't be the table the servers are talking about. Very professional service. The wife and I eat here during every visit to Huntsville.”
