“We were seated right away by hostess and greeted by waitress. The hostess was prompt and very courteous. After being seated, it took almost 15 minutes after placing drink order to get our drinks. My drink came, but my wife's was entered incorrectly and had to be remade. The waitress communicated this upfront and was apologetic.. When her drink came, however, it was in a half full glass which had lipstick on it. We placed orders for appetizer and entree at the same time because the wait was starting to seem a little long. We received entrees in about 12 minutes which was good but it came before our appetizer which came about 10 min later. Both entrees were very good, but was not crazy about the oyster appetizer. Aroma seemed a little stronger (fishy) than I was expecting. The atmosphere if the restaurant was very pleasant. The food presentation was very good. I would, however, recommend better quality silverware. For the quality of food presented, and the price of the entrees, the silverware was the of the lowest quality and unmatched pattern. Despite the critiques mentioned, overall the meal was good and we plan to visit again. It's great to see a minority owned business doing well in the heart of downtown Mobile.”

“Our first time here. It was pretty good. Bar atmosphere and even though we went later in the evening it was still not too loud and we were able to have an intimate dinner. It was a nice little tucked away place. The food was good, as was the service. The place was clean and comfortable. The other patrons were friendly and content as well. We will certainly visit here again. The dessert was my favorite. It was a pecan brown sugar brownie a la mode. I think it was called a brownie. I don’t remember but it was so so truly worth a drive downtown for sure!”

“Save room for dessert! My wife and I just finished an excellent lunch at Wintzell's. I ordered the grilled seafood plate (pictured) and my wife ordered grilled shrimp and scallops. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our server, Jason, was friendly, professional, attentive, and happy to provide recommendations. Although we were full from our meals, we still managed to enjoy the key lime pie and it did not disappoint! All in all a great meal!”

“Who goes to a BBQ joint and orders a salad? Me! And let me tell you it was worth it! Everything was fresh and nice variety of veggies and then topped with a ton of pulled pork. Fresh spinach and other greens, tomatoes, purple onion and cucumbers, bacon and spiced pecans . All of it was chopped up nicely too so there wasn’t big chunks of onions etc. not too mention it was huge and served with their sweet, crunch cornbread!”

“Great customer service . Our hostess/server was ReRe and she was great. I took my son and some of his Blount baseball teammates there to celebrate their win today over BC Rain ! Food was great. They enjoyed the 100 wings and sides of loaded fries and mozzarella sticks. They absolutely loved the strawberry lemonade. The adults ordered shrimp hibachi. They do have clean bathrooms, a pool table , multiple TVs throughout and a good vibe. We were a party of 9 & felt very comfortable there and enjoyed our dinner. We definitely will be returning to celebrate again.”

“I'm new to the area and my employees have been telling about this place. My wife and I visited last week and came across a young man Brandon who was working the front. Ced only was he professional, and knowledgeable about the menu, he was courteous and very fast. Despite there being other staff, not as engaging, he made us feel as if we were the only ones there. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the location immensely. Not only have we added the Simple Greek to our catering considerations, we also had 2 of our Partners visit, with a few clienteles with severe dietary restrictions, and they absolutely LOVED the place.
