“My husband and I ate here for the first time day. The food was by far the best Mexican food in the T-Town area. We both ordered the Mexican Wire and it was perfect. Very flavorful, tender meat, delicious veggies, and the guacamole was fantastic too! The waiter did not hover over us, and I didn’t mind. We ate our meal in peace, although we did have to wait a few minutes for a refill (first world problems). I have no complaints though. I’d rather wait a minute than my glass be filled after every sip.”

“It's quick, a little too quick. Everything was going smooth when I went through the drive through to try this place for the first time. I ordered the burger all the way, with all the fixings "everything" with NO mayonnaise. Then, went through the line relatively quickly. It wasn't until I got to my next destination that I opened the burger and discovered it had a ton of mayonnaise and nothing else on the burger. They got it backwards.”

“Love the artsy feel of this place. We wanted to try this out since we are in the neighborhood. It just opened this month. The design is so cool. Lots of little artsy touches. The wait people are quick and friendly. We had wings as an appetizer, and they were satisfactory. Served hot, And nice and spicy. Of course you go there for the pizza. My wife had a gluten-free white pizza. The gluten-free cost an extra two dollars, and I must say, it was a tasty crust. I had of the veg out veggie pizza. And it was on their classic thin crust. It was also tasty, with fresh vegetables. The tomatoes little green. The pizzas were tasty, our only complaint is that they were both relatively greasy. Especially the white pizza. We will be back, because this is a cool place however, we actually like the previous establishment, post office pies, better.”

As a Texan and Alabama transplant, it makes me so happy they have brisket on the menu and the night I was in Tuscaloosa I was fortunate they still had some! Plus, the portions are ridiculously sized. I guess a lot of really hungry people eat brisket. The fries are good, too, as well as the slaw and the baked beans. I love the little miniature muffins they bring you. They also have outdoor seating at this location.”

These shortcomings are understandable, having worked in many commercial kitchens myself while experiencing similar circumstances. Overall it was just as good as the next Arby's.”
