Awesome service. My 3 y/o son and I arrived a little early for takeout and he started to get whiny. One of the waitresses, all of a sudden, brought him a bowl of soup and some banchan! Super nice and it was on the house!
The food was amazing but we had to wait a while to speak with anyone. The customer service was definitely lacking a lot. But I'd still highly recommend checking it out none the less.
My expectations were low. I've eaten in Korea Town in LA, Seattle and in the New York metropolitan area.
And Korea.
I've been disappointed in every place except for New York and obviously the standard of Korea itself (where I am as I write this).
But Korea Garden ended up far exceeding my expectations.
It was just like many of the best places around NYC.
Good, tasty, fresh Korean food that had not been Americanized.
To find out in Anchorage is a real jewel.
The food is awesome! Your dinner starts of with these 7 little bowls of tasty treats. You can't go wrong. Try the unfiltered rice wine.
Restaurant located in the strip mall. Clean restaurant, good service. Waitresses are very friendly. However, spicy dishes we ordered were not spicy at all. Spicy seafood soft tofu soup was too plain and flavorless but that could be a one off because the rest of the dishes we ordered were delicious. They serve cinnamon ginger tea at the end of your meal, which was really refreshing. I'll definitely come back.
