Serrano's Mexican Grill

This place is awesome. Best Mexican food in Alaska in my opinion and at a great value as well. Their carnitas chimichanga is one of the best I've ever had. I love their fresh handmade salsa and dig that they serve free sour cream along with the salsas.

The staff are very nice and willing to help you with getting your order taken and finding your drinks and flat ware. It is set up like a semi-self serve market. The food is good basic Mexican food and the price was appropriate.

This is an excellent place to get some authentic Mexican food. The menu isn't huge, but they cover all of the bases. What sets them apart from your average Mexican restaurant is the amount of flavor packed into their meats. No matter what you get, you can expect nothing on your plate to be boring. Their freshly made corn tortillas and salsas are also excellent additions to any meal. From my experience, service is friendly and fast. I'd certainly recommend Serrano's if you're in search of Mexican food in Anchorage.

Best tacos in Anchorage. They changed the tortillas and that was a major win decision. They taste even better now. The meat (carne asada) is so juicy and tender. Sauces are great and they have two brews that are made for them by someone else I think. Very good beers. I've only had tasters but they will work well with tacos. If I could give them 6 stars I would.
