“Was visiting Anchorage and this was down the road from the hotel I was staying at. Had the pulled pork plate with mac & cheese and red beans & rice. The pulled pork was delicious and well-seasoned. Loved the tangy barbecue sauce! The mac and cheese was divine. The server was very friendly, and provided a nice brief history of the place. He even brought a complimentary small sample of peach cobbler. Never been a cobbler fan, but it was great! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the downtown Anchorage area. They had a large selection of specials as well.”

“Would have given them more stars because the food is always pretty good but they got only 3 stars because my husband and I went in there recently and ordered some food to go because they still aren't open for dine in. My husband brought to my attention that none of the employees were were masks while they prepared our food and handed it to us. My husband even heard someone in the back sneeze. I have a special needs child who has a compromised immune system. If he get covid 19 chances are he would probably not survive. Plus my parents are in their 70's and them catching it would be deadly to them.”

Not usually around this area but my usual Chinese place closed down and I was looking for another that satisfies the others in my family and noone has lived up to the challenge. We like a place that has white meat in their sesame chicken and so far that is all we ordered. But it was way better than expected with large portions and the price was great also. It was kind of late so they made a fresh order and it was ready really fast. I imagine they get over looked due to their location but it is a must try. They do not deliver but I plan on ordering for pickup. To make it even better they offered a free pint thing of steamed rice for free. I'm guessing because they were about to close but it was appropriated either way.”

“This place rocks. As soon as you enter your nose is filled with the smell of sweet dough and syrup. The menus is huge. Think of basket Robbins but for waffles. They also serve smoothies and about 8 different sandwiches. Full espresso machine. They have some leather couches in the back you can relax by a electric fire and wait for them to make your food. They take card and cash. Probably enough seating for 20. Hard to see from the road but it’s in the one story strip mall that’s brown with a red metal roof. Defiantly treat yourself and stop by. I guarantee you will find something you like. Weather it’s a sandwich , smoothie, espresso, or chicken and waffles! They have you covered. The smoothies are a solid 9/10. And they take the food to you when it’s ready. Amazing place don’t miss out.”
