“This is an excellent place to get some authentic Mexican food. The menu isn't huge, but they cover all of the bases. What sets them apart from your average Mexican restaurant is the amount of flavor packed into their meats. No matter what you get, you can expect nothing on your plate to be boring. Their freshly made corn tortillas and salsas are also excellent additions to any meal. From my experience, service is friendly and fast. I'd certainly recommend Serrano's if you're in search of Mexican food in Anchorage.”

“I remember this being my favorite wing place. However the quality has shifted a bit, with how long they make you wait for your food I expect they at least evenly coat the wings in sauce. Not only that but my $4 soda was watered down. I love this place I really do but I simply can't give it a higher rating”

“Decent pizza, a fairly good salad bar, and the kids will be occupied for at least 2 hours. They’ll love it and you will love it too.”

“The Petroleum Club is pretty neat place to visit and has very good food. But be aware this is a membership club, so you need to either be a member or have a member invite you. I suspect if Anchorage was a bigger city, the club would be busy all the time. The club has a nice ambiance and a full restaurant and bar. After-hour drinks here are pretty popular, especially for folks in the oil and gas industry. They also cater events here and offer full service from a lovely waitstaff. My review is based on acting lunch here for a co-worker's birthday. Everyone agreed the food was mostly 4.5 and 5 star rated, and the food was very filling. But the one complaint that I heard from a few people is that the daytime service can be a bit slow. So just be sure to let them know if you are pressed for time. Overall, it was a very nice lunch experience.”

“Best pasta I've ever had. I had the charbroiled chicken broccoli fettuccine alfredo. And they are not shy with their plates. There was so much food. We got so full and still had plenty to take home. We had an awesome waiter Michael. I Will definitely be back.”

“Came here after a long flight from the mainland and it really hit the spot. Noodles with bean sauce was very good and not too salty. Mongolian beef and spicy shrimp dinner special came hot and tasty. The beef was tender and shrimp cooked just right. The service was efficient and just right. Glad we ate here.”

“Good food but it has slowly made everything smaller throughout the years. The people here get things wrong a LOT. Check your receipt and food before you leave. But hey, the food is pretty good. Especially the cheese curds ????????????”

“I skipped Lunch and was super hungry by 6:00PM. Left from hotel and decided to go here as I saw good rating and I see why it has such a good rating. The ambience was good and the hostess, Martha was always smiling and made sure I enjoyed my food. I was surprised to see a separate Veggie menu as not many restaurant in Anchorage area has separate veggie menu. The chips and salsa was good and their IPA was amazing as well. The veggie fajitas tasted really good. I will be in town on a regular basis and this will be my visit every time I visit.”

“The Blooming Onion here is so much better than the one at Texas Roadhouse. We had an excellent waiter but he didn't notice that the host or bus boy had not put any silverware on our table so we had our food for about 10 minutes before we ever got silverware. The shrimp in the appetizer were much smaller than I expected, but they were tasty. My husband's steak was great.”

“Altura experience is nothing but amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing yet classy. The service is impeccable and not overbearing. And the food is easily some of the best I've had in town. A must go to restaurant in town!”

“Restaurant was roomy and room temperature was cool... really nice for eating (IMHO). Waygu ( from Australian beef brisket) double burger was very flavorful and filling. Green style was delicious all wrapped in a big chunk of lettuce instead of a bun. Oreo shake was super super thick and creamy. Yeah, I had a great time. Staff were very friendly and service was fast. Fast food that doesn't taste like fast food at all. Nice. Not cheap, at over $17 for their most expensive burger + a 20 ounce shake, but very good quality.”

“I like coming to this place because of their great service. Which is rare to find in a Phó restaurant, not sure why...The Phó is great! The vegetables are fresh and flavorful. The place has a pleasant aroma and all the extra cutlery on the table was clean. Make sure to wear a sweater or jacket that’s easy to take off because once you start eating...you’re going to be sweating ???? from the temp of the ????! ????????”

My favorite was the tempura sweet potatoes. Free sushi roll as well for the table was an added bonus! Change up your lunch game and check this place out.”

“I’ve been eating at Cafe Amsterdam for 17+ years. The food is excellent (Kens omelettes are far superior to any others, including those I had in France), and everything on the menu is good or great. I’d go twice a week if it were open. Prices are fair and the service is very good. I take guests at every opportunity.”

“What could be wrong about a long established bakery that offers specialty coffee, sandwiches and the most amazing selection freshly baked breads? Their selection changes from day to day but there are a few staple varieties offered all the time. Be warned, they let you taste whatever you want and they don’t skimp with their samples. I love the Honey Wheat. It works for sandwiches or French Toast, but for me it is best toasted with butter. One item I can’t pass up if it is available is their Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread. I share with my family, begrudgingly. You should also try their house granola blend, great with yogurt and berries!”
