“What a phenomenal example of giving back to the community. They always seem to do the right thing. Both as a restaurant and as a member of the city. I ordered food from them for the first time last night and was instantly blown away. The food was amazing, Portions were great , and the staff was so helpful and nice. The people handling the over the phone orders helped us order to ensure we for enough food to feed everyone and at a fair price. The driver was fast and handled his business in a very professional manner. The way the food was packed prevented spilling and kept the food hot until we were ready to eat. I'll 100% be ordering from them again. Such a great experience”

“We had an awesome experience at South. Our first time. We were looking for a place to celebrate my sister's first time in Alaska. This is the place. Nice semiprivate dining room for special events. We had two of their special cocktails.... The gin and juice and bees knees. Both great. For dinner we shared one tapas...ahi poke and 1.5 pounds of AK King crab. Never had the crab before. We were surprised how each leg was already opened up. Does everyone in AK do this for you? Our server, Cindy, took excellent care of us. She recommended the chocolate mousse for dessert. It was outstanding. All in all a perfect place for a celebratory dinner.”

The guy cashier looked a little sketchy, the first time I went in, but he's so nice & he works really hard to make sure you're happy. That's unusual in fast food service & I think it deserves some recognition. We ordered 2 pizzas to go, and the crust got kinda messed up on one. He made sure to show me, and he offered to make me a new one. It was really no big deal & I told him it was fine, but he still offered me a free crazy bread. That's just really nice. He always thanks you for coming in & apologizes, if you have to wait. I don't know his name, but he does a good job & he's the reason that I drive to this one, instead of the SA, where the lady acts like it's such a bother to help you. Great job, front counter guy!
