Definitely a fun experience to bike around the canyon. If you didn’t bring your bike with you, this is a great place to rent them! We had a rough start to our morning, and were pretty late. They were really nice and let us keep the bikes much later than our reservation time since they weren’t too busy. I will say, if you have young kids and you aren’t 100% confident in their biking skills, just get the tag-a-long bike. You are, after all, biking next to the canyon, and it just makes it a much more pleasant experience not having to worry about the kids falling or keeping up. They provide a great map and estimates of time and effort for each route, though it would have been super great to have that on their website or in the confirmation email. Overall, it was a great experience and would definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience...the highlight of our trip to the Grand Canyon/Sedona. Of course, the biking was incredible but the customer service at Bright Angel Bikes was even better. Our son has an upper limb difference that prevents him from being able to use a right side braking system. A friend of ours had had a great experience with Bright Angel on their trip so we contacted them a couple of weeks before our trip to see what might be possible, given the fact that most of their bikes use a right-side system. They responded immediately, worked super hard with us to find a solution, and eventually agreed to install a piece we had acquired but never used a couple of years ago. We got there a little before our scheduled time, their technicians got the piece to work, our family had an awesome ride along the south rim, and our son is now interested in getting a bike with a similar system. At any point the folks at Bright Angel could have told us that they just didn't have the capacity to accommodate us but they just kept hammering away at the problem until they had it solved, at no extra charge. If only every company treated their customers this way. I know this sounds like it is being written by someone with connections to Bright Angel but it isn't...just one family of seriously satisfied customers. And, judging from the dozens and dozens of other smiling faces we saw on other renters during our trip, we weren't the only ones. These guys are the real deal!

A great experience! Getting the bikes rented and setup was relatively quick even on a very busy day. Mike did a great job explaining everything and giving advice on where to go and how long it would probably take us. Why not 5 stars? I wish they'd had a larger rental helmet for my big ol' head--the one I had to settle for started to feel a bit tight after a couple of hours. The cruisers were fun, shifting was mostly reliable, brakes worked, and the ride was comfortable. Towards the end of the ride the saddle started getting uncomfortable. Maybe offer an handful of "expert" road bikes for rent? I'd gladly have paid $20-$30 more on a half day trip to have something lighter and quicker. Also, not your department, but some of the signage on the non-motorized trail in "town" was a bit confusing/missing. We took more than one wrong turn but weren't off course for very long. Overall, we loved it. Thanks so much!

We are a semi retired couple that rented e-bikes to ride the rim for the full day on Wednesday, April 6th. It was our first experience with an e-bike. Prior to our departure the staff gave us thorough instructions and required a quick test drive to insure we were comfortable with the mechanics before we headed out. We had an awesome day and were cheerfully greeted upon return. It was a hassle free minute to drop off our bikes. The bikes were comfortable and super easy to use. The ride helped us make our decision to purchase a pair of e-bikes once we return home. We would definitely rent again and highly recommend this mode of transportation for easy access to the canyon and the amazing vistas along the way.

The staff was excellent, from the folks checking us in and fitting out bikes to the shuttle driver and your guide. Everyone was friendly and seemed excited to be helping folks.
The tour itself was great. An easy ride with several stops and lots of interesting information about the park and the canyon.
We also got breakfast from the shop. Easily the best hot chocolate I've every had.
