“Went here in person March 14 and loved it so much we came again the next day for the live music! The food is amazing — my favorite in downtown chandler by far — and the waitstaff were so friendly and great. We were so sad when they closed down but I saw they opened up for pick up and I’ve just put in my order. Our recommendation is definitely for the buttermilk chicken salad but you can’t go wrong anywhere here. Excited to spend my money on a local business I love!”

“First time eating at The Taco Spot and I have to say, very good taco's. I'm not sure what she called the sauce but it was excellent, even dipped my fries for added spice! The Asada was full of flavor and juicy. The place was clean and the employees were very gracious. I'll be definitely going again in the near future. “The best enchilada experience right here in Chandler. First you choose an enchilada or tacos either 2 or 3. Then you pick either corn or flour. Then you choose your fillings..chicken, bison, mashed potatoes, spinach and mushroom, or pork. You choose red or green salsa.Then they bake it in a gas oven. You can add guac or an egg. When it comes out you can add a lot of delicious toppings. I Iove it and highly recommend it.”

“When I first arrived and saw the menu, the prices seemed a little higher than usual, until I received my food. It was the best quesadilla I have ever had! “When my favorite deli closed at the end of April I needed a new lunch place. I had read about Civic and had been meaning to check it out. So glad I did. The pizza, ice tea, coffee, and apple pie were all fantastic. I was already sold, but then something wonderful happened. The owner of that deli I loved, Emilie, was hired as the kitchen manager. It really is the best of both worlds. I can alternate between my favorite sandwich from the deli and the pizza. With her new bread machine though, the sandwiches taste even better. Emilie has also elevated the already amazing pizza too. Plus you have to try the cannoli. The staff is wonderful and the owners are super friendly. This place is a true gem.”

“This place is perfect! You can get beer, wine, or liquor now. They make their own whiskey and vodka. And it’s so good! I like that I can come here and get a variety of beers too. Such a chill atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, it’s the perfect space if you have kids too. Plenty of stuff for them to do- games, basketball, etc. Also, if you’re hungry you can get food delivered here. Always a great time when I go here.”

“It was a bit of a disappointment going to this specific location, tables were very dirty, no sauces or napkins we're stock up, the soda machine looked very unsanitary, I asked for mustard to one of the managers, and she asked to one of the employees to give it to me, I don't think she heard, so the manager yelled at her in a very rude and loudly wayin front of everyone, I felt really bad..???? the workers hair was barely in a ponytail, no nets or anything. The food was still delicious tho.”

“The place was super cute! The staff greeted us at front and they were super nice. We ended up getting afternoon special (bun, dumplings, salad, and a drink for $10) I got the ground pork bun. The dumplings and bun was tasty. The salad had a nice peanut dressing that went well as a side. ALSO! They had reusable straws and boba straws too!! I thought that was pretty cool.”

My kids love love the Mac and cheese and that they get refills. I had the Impossible Burger. It wasn't quite as good as when I had it cooked on a BBQ grill but it didn't disappoint either. “My husband and I wanted to go somewhere we had never been before, so we choose this place tonight. The wait was typical for Friday night about 25 minutes. Parking was very limited but there is a larger lot for surrounding department stores. The hostess who sat us was unfriendly and borderline rude. Our server/waitress was very polite and checked on us frequently. Food came out pretty quickly. I ordered the pain killer mixed drink and it was good although it had a triangle cut of pineapple as garnish with the peel still on and I did think of viruses going around and wondered if they washed the outside before putting it in the drink. I ordered blackened fish. I was surprised to see the color was golden and flavor was not like other blackened fish or chicken I had at other places. My husband ordered put roast and he really liked it. The vibe was pretty relaxed and positive. Bathrooms were in pretty bad shape as in not clean. We arrived@ 5:30 so it seems this place gets busy for early dinner's. For the price I thought it was average food so in other words it was not cheap and depending on what you order may not be worth it. I did not see vegetarian protein option either. I will go back if I'm in that specific area and all but I will not make a point of coming back.”

“I have never been to Jersey Mike's before today. I am from the Midwest and we don't have Jersey Mike's there, but as someone who has a gluten allergy I was intrigued by their gluten free sub option and it's been a while since I've had a good gluten free sub. I went in during my lunch break and told the gentleman that I will be needing gluten free sub and that it is an allergy and not a preference. As soon as my order was to be prepared, every surface was sanitized and every employee that handled bread washed their hands and put on new gloves! I was so impressed and so happy they take these things seriously, because Gluten allergy and Celiac disease can be tough to manage if restaurants claim to be "gluten free" but don't actually put in the effort. I will be definitely going back to this location if not for the gluten free options but also because their subs are very tasty!!”
