“I hate to be critical of the local restaurants in town, but for me, Coperstate Cafe is just another “Me too” establishment. There is nothing particularly remarkable about the food, it’s just generic stuff you can get anywhere. It’s really too bad, there is so much opportunity to do something to stand out among the crowd, to serve something that broaches “gourmet.” It would be great if they offered quiche, crapes, Belgian Waffles, or maybe an Israeli breakfast, where you get to sample a variety of things. Maybe flights of fresh squeezed juices, or flights of coffee that comes from different parts of the world. So many fun and creative options. But instead, they serve the same stuff you can get at a dozen restaurants around town. To be fair, there is nothing wrong with the food or the setting. If you’re a person who just eats for sustenance, you’ll be perfectly happy here. If you are a foodie looking for something above average, I’m afraid this is not the place for you.”

“New York themed restaurant. Pizza was very good, made with fresh ingredients. We had two large pizzas for 5 people end left satisfied. Tables are big and the staff is very friendly. We were passing through and ran across Spurs Cafe. It was 11 am. My bf chose the chicken fried steak breakfast. He said everything about it was good. “My wife and I were very pleased with our experience. I got the stuffed baked potato. The pulled pork had a very good flavor and the potato was perfectly baked. She got the Hassayampa Burger with sweet potato fries. Both were very good. The restaurant was clean and the service good. It was easy to find and there is a decent amount of parking beside and behind it. My biggest gripe- Why do you not have Sweet Tea?!?!”
