“We were looking for a restaurant that served gluten free selections in the Show Low area. This location is in the same shopping center as a McD and a Safeway, so my husband wandered over to check out the menu. After seeing soft shell crab as an appetizer and gluten free noodles for the Ramen dishes, we showed up during a busy Memorial Day to try the cuisine. The place was pretty busy for a late 3 pm lunch, with several tables occupied and takeout orders being picked up. The server still spent some time to answer our questions about the gluten free options. I ordered a GF chicken Ramen and my husband ordered a soft shell crab appetizer as well as fried Udon entree with Cha Shu (pork). We were both quite happy with our entrees and he was thrilled with the crab appetizer. We split a Special Thai Tea drink as my Ramen bowl was quite filling. This place seems to be a converted fast food restaurant but provides sit-down service for everything but the takeout or pickups.”

“Very few golf courses at this price point don’t have this level of design and beauty. This course blew me a way with its course design for the money. The course was challenging but fair and was a blast to play. The greens were perfect and were really fast if you’re above the hole. The fairways and bunkers are in near perfect shape. We paid $55 for a 3pm tee time which is a tremendous value for the course and the conditions. It’s a must play!”

“It’s been years since we stopped here. It’s just as nice as I remember. Lol, we pulled out of the drive thinking we were going to merge onto I-40 and quickly were stopped by a “road closed” sign. It was dark and the station was perhaps once situated along the OLD onramp… we had to circle around until we could see where we were going! Also, lots of parking spaces for truckers here. But seriously, easy to get on and off the interstate for a quick stop and re-fuel!”

“What a great and random surprise! We are long haul truck drivers, pulled into town this morning looking for breakfast. Sal, the owner, greeted us immediately and made us feel at home. He took our coffee order as we browsed the merchandise, then his nephew Gregory made our coffee. He was great, even checking with us as to the temperature we wanted it served at. Coffee was great and they offer different premium options as well. My favorite part of the visit was realizing the building is haunted! When we walked in I thought it was, and that was confirmed as soon as I went into the restroom. I turned the light on and it immediately turned off. This happened two more times before it stayed on. After I came out, I asked Gregory who the ghost was in the restroom and he said he isn’t sure, but he and Sal agreed the building does seem haunted. The overall vibe is friendly (superb hospitality, I felt like I was visiting family), laid back and just a little ghostly. I strongly recommend a visit to anyone who lives in the area or who is passing through. I hope we are back through here soon so we can stop back in for a great cup of coffee, more browsing and hope for another ghost encounter! Best of luck with the new coffee shop guys!”
