Our two entrees were terrific: a shrimp chop suey and family bean curd. All fresh vegetables, good portions, and great flavor. We asked for brown rice, which was just the way we love it, chewy and sticky. You don't usually get brown rice like that.”

“Visited store @ 4:30 PM on 5/5/20 The pizzas were great, as usual....BUT! I was surprised (while wearing my mask) to see NONE of the visible employees in the store were wearing masks. Maybe I should have asked about it or even refused to take my phoned-in order...but I paid, took the food & left. I realize my pizzas were baked at home which should kill most dangerous stuff but we still were exposed to the clear plastic covering or receipt, etc. Retail food prep workers not wearing masks doesn't seem safe for them or for me. What gives??”

“Nice joint for a bit of food. I ordered the hamburger because I always do. Fry's were great if you are like me and like Fries without dipping sauce than you will enjoy the fries. The view is nice and patio seating is plenty, they have an open bar with much on tap and the staff is super friendly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good meal and sit down.”

“This is definitely a great special occasion restaurant. The entrees and starters are pricey but quite delicious and cooked beautifully. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and all of the staff were polite and helpful. The twice baked potato was amazing, as was the Baseball Sirloin my husband had. The prime rib was nicely seasoned and the horseradish was nice and hot. We don't look at wine lists much but they seemed to have a nice selection. Treat yo self, and make an occasion to go to The Keg.”

“Vegetables with white sauce was delicious, wok-cooked to perfection and all veggies were fresh not from a can. Mongolian Beef was generous in portion and full of flavor, and made with real sliced beef unlike what most other Chinese restaurants we've tried serve. As I'm not a spicy hot food fellow, I'd ask the chef next time to turn the heat down to very mild. It took several gulps of water to finally get used to the chili heat and enjoy the dish. The pork egg foo young was generously filled with freshly cooked veggies and served with gobs of delicious brown gravy. Chen Dee, the chef's daughter served us expertly with a smile. She is very knowledgeable about ingredients and cooking methods. China Valley Chinese Restaurant is a long-awaited gift to Oro Valley, in fact, to Greater Tucson.”

“This is the first time we try this chain. I loved the surf turf sandwich even though I decided to have avocado rather than pickles. All the ingredients were super fresh. “Went on Mother’s Day. Although there was a crowd, we had a short wait by using their ‘wait in line’ service on their mobile app. It told us approximately when to arrive and was pretty close. The food and service were great. They have a nice patio and ample seating. The only downside to eating outside was the road noise. Prices are reasonable for the quality food.”

“I pretty much use Yelp and Google when deciding on places, and I’m not sure why this place has such a bad score on Yelp? My mom had the cinnamon French toast, which you can make according to how you like it. I got an iced coffee with white chocolate syrup, and it was possibly the most watery iced coffee I’ve ever had. Seriously, it was like it was milk with a tiny splash of coffee. I drank some and asked for them to top it off, but it was still super watered down. I was also kind of surprised this place didn’t have WiFi - I feel like it would be a cool place to get some work done.”

“We came here on a Monday afternoon. There was only the one bartender (who also was a server and she was pretty busy, but super sweet!) There is a midday lunch special for $9 with about 8 or 9 options. I ordered the chicken fingers with the special potatoes - My sister-in-law got the hummus plate (comes with lots of veggies) and we also ordered the Brussels sprouts with bacon side dish (HUGE portion). The other chicken finger photos on Yelp for this place makes them look like a kinda skimpy portion - but my portion would have fed 2 hungry adults! The server was nice and let me get 2 dipping sauces, she said I could have as many as I wanted!! Sprouts were great. (I did not try the hummus)”

“We order a large amount of food (highly recommend their party platters) for our family's Easter dinner. We picked it up. They had it ready and brought it out to our car. Very nice employees. Friendly and pleasant. Prior to the pickup, the manager called to see if we wanted plates, napkins and plastic ware. So nice! No dishes for me! Once we picked up our food, they discovered that they forgot to put in one platter of our ribs. They tried to call my phone but I was driving and couldn't answer. When I got home I listened to their message and called them back. They apologized profusely for the error and VOLUNTEERED to deliver our missing item! So nice that I didn't have to leave my family and drive there again! They got there very quickly with our food. They went out of their way to apologize and make it right. Top notch customer service and everyone I delt with from the employee who took my phone order, who brought my order to the car, who called me to apologize and who in the end delivered our food were super nice and so helpful! They have earned my repeat business and you should go here!”
