“I had lunch here in Chino Valley. First, I want to say how accommodating and friendly…what nice people they are!… they’re checking in on you…hoping you like what they made ….you could say they really put their heart into this business and show great care. I really appreciated that. I got the beef brisket with a roll and the jalapeño coleslaw along with a side salad with a blue cheese dressing ….this was no bottled blue cheese dressing …it was absolutely wonderful and the gal says she makes it fresh every day and you could certainly tell . The beef brisket was cooked to perfection, and the rolls they served along with it were warm and soft….really wonderful. The barbecue sauce on the table was the sweet heat that I love! “The fettuccine alfredo was great, as was the beef dip. I had the barnyard chicken club, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was excellent, prices were average. The only real problem was the sirloin, which was ordered well done and came out red. (steak preparedness opinions aside) Not a little pink, but red and full of gristle. See pics.”

“If you want a good down home cooked breakfast,this is the place to go and Local favorite. Especially if your into chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy...oh, and coffee, especially when you dine in. Your cup will never be empty.I think they have at least one waitress designated to keep checking all the coffee cups. You'll see a lot of regular customers there. If you're coming from out of town don't be alarmed if you see people carrying guns. Arizona is an open carry state and there's a lot of ranchers and farmers here that are always carrying. “First time patron. Glad it came to mind as I was headed towards another steakhouse. Menu is large and quite varied. One page is marked RT and it’s full of the many items on other pages and is a senior menu or for someone wanting smaller portions. My excellent waiter, Mike, suggested the flat iron steak after asking what it was and found it to be very tender and no fat or grizzle. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Get 2 side dishes and they special one for today was zucchini. Cooked in a flavorful sauce and I really enjoyed. Oh, almost forgot the best dish —French onion soup which I ordered before my steak. Came out pretty fast and glad I asked for it first as they were very busy. Took two peanut butter slices of pie and my macaroni which I didn’t eat cause I was plenty full and satisfied. Great spot on outskirts of Chino Valley which is definitely worth a try and I’m going back for sure. Thanks for listening and enjoy your lunch or dinner.”
